[Chapter 189: Daniel on the Trending List]
That evening, Megan really did come over, keeping Daniel quite busy again.
Partway through, the Succubus poked her head out from behind the phone, watching with a hint of delight. It wasn't until Daniel shot her a fierce glare that she ducked back inside.
After the highly enjoyable session ended, Daniel took out the Spirit Transformation Elixir, Foundational Reinforcement Elixir, and Osteogenic Elixir and handed them to Megan.
Soon, Megan's excited squeals echoed from the bedroom, signaling the second round of their intimate time together had begun.

The next evening, Daniel invited Julia Roberts to dinner and, of course, brought Megan along. Julia, in turn, brought Emma.
When Julia saw Megan, her eyes lit up.
Megan had always been beautiful with a great figure, but the large pores were quite noticeable on her skin. Now, her complexion was delicate and smooth, and with the help of the Osteogenic Elixir, she had grown, now reaching 5 feet 8 inches. The charm she radiated -- inside and out -- had leapt several notches higher.
Emma regarded her with envy. Height had always been a sore spot for her. Though she was only 14 and supposedly still had room to grow, her height hadn't changed in quite some time.
Julia asked, "Daniel, didn't you say before that she was under 5'5"? That's clearly not the case now. Info like this might make the production team reconsider. We need to think about whether her height matches the lead actor's."
Daniel replied, "That shouldn't be a problem."
He remembered the male lead of Transformers wasn't especially tall but wasn't short either. They could just have Megan skip the heels when the time came.
Julia was just making conversation; either way, she couldn't control if Megan passed the audition.
While they ate, Emma leaned over to Daniel's side and whispered, "Daniel, I heard you have several girlfriends. Is that true?"
Daniel was caught off guard and turned to look at her. "Who told you that?"
Emma said, "I have a bunch of good friends in the industry. Didn't you take Scarlett Johansson to that Halloween costume party? You even dressed up as Hawkeye and Black Widow."
"Huh?" Daniel said. "You even know about that?"
Emma stared at him. "You made the news. Didn't you know?"
"That happened?"
Daniel pulled out his phone, struggling with a slow connection, and searched the news. He found that photos of him and Scarlett had actually made it into an entertainment section -- and were even the headline. He had been completely unaware of it.
He thought back. During those few days, he'd been holed up at home with Scarlett, lost in their own world. They'd cut off all contact and paid no attention to the outside world at all. By the time they reconnected, he had run into the Succubus situation. He had no idea that incident had pushed their photos to the headlines.
Daniel scanned the comments below and was surprised most were positive.
[Is this Black Widow? She's so beautiful and sexy. Scarlett Johansson is the perfect Black Widow in my mind.]

At that moment, Emma whispered again, "Scarlett Johansson is your girlfriend too, right?"
Daniel said, "Eat your food. Kids shouldn't pry into adult matters."
Emma pressed on, "But a friend told me Scarlett's grown taller recently. She's become a real beauty."
Her eyes burned with intensity. "And Amanda Seyfried, Anne Hathaway -- they've all grown taller. They all have some connection to you. Daniel, can you make people grow taller?"
Daniel was stunned. Something no one else had noticed had now been uncovered by a child.
"Where did you find out about these things?" Daniel asked.
"Of course you wouldn't know," Emma scoffed, a triumphant look on her face. "Ever since you refused to be my boyfriend, I've been gathering your data and tracking your moves. Everything you do is under my watch. I know exactly how many girlfriends you have."
Daniel almost swore under his breath. That little rascal had become a paparazzi. And as a paparazzi, she didn't even need to work hard herself; she had informants in the industry feeding her information.
Seeing Daniel silent, Emma added, "Daniel, you definitely can make people grow taller, right? Please help me -- I want to grow taller too. I don't want to stay short."
Daniel said, "You're just a kid. You still have plenty of time to grow. What's the worry?"
Though Emma never grew very tall, not even reaching 5'3", she was indeed petite for Hollywood. But her body proportions were quite good.
Emma looked distressed. "But I haven't grown in over a year. I might not get any taller."
Daniel replied, "Let's talk about it when you're 18."
Emma's eyes lit up. "If I'm still short at 18, will you help me grow taller?"
Daniel didn't rule it out completely. "Maybe."
Emma said, "It's a deal. You can't go back on your word."
Daniel nodded, and Emma's mood brightened instantly.

Although Megan had received an audition invitation for the female lead in Transformers, it wouldn't happen quickly. The project hadn't even been announced publicly yet.
Megan could only keep taking small commercial gigs -- shooting ads and doing runway shows. Of course, she was also negotiating other roles, but she planned to wait until she secured the Transformers lead before finalizing anything. That way, with such a major role endorsement, her market value would skyrocket.
A few days later, while processing information, the Succubus reported to Daniel, "Master, Miss Hathaway's messages are becoming more frequent. She seems... very anxious. Hitch will officially release next week."
Daniel had to admire how fast Hitch was moving. In just a few months, it was already about to be released. Anne Hathaway had really hit the right timing.
Daniel was in the middle of drawing a Seal. Only after finishing the final stroke did he look up. "What did she say?"
"She said she can't sleep and keeps dreaming that everyone at the premiere is laughing at her -- saying she ruined the movie."
The Succubus paused. "Do you want me to comfort her like before? Or will you reply yourself?"
Daniel thought for a moment, then took his phone and personally sent Anne a message: "Trust my judgment, and trust in your own efforts. Soon, you'll be greeted with flowers and applause."
Not long after, Anne replied almost instantly: "Really? Then will you come to the premiere next week?"
Daniel understood what she meant. Having him appear at such an important public event was essentially a tacit announcement of their intimate relationship. It aligned perfectly with her goal of binding Daniel to her firmly.
Daniel thought for a moment. "I can."
