Chapter 62 - Chapter 60: The Witches' Tea Party

"I know! I know!! Don't continue!!!" Echidna's voice echoed in the hotel room, full of extreme displeasure and helplessness.

Along with her irritated shout, the freezing temperature and the ominous black mist rapidly eroding the illusion gradually subsided.

Echidna sighed, running a pale hand through her white hair, and turned her head to look at Regulus.

"There's no way around it," she grumbled, her cheeks still slightly flushed from what they had just been watching. "They've already waited impatiently. Let's go meet them together."

"Okay. Take me there."

Regulus felt quite regretful in his heart.

'Just a little bit more,' he thought. 'The most important thing is that Echidna clearly had the intention to continue.'

But now it was obviously impossible. The violent anomaly just now, no matter how you looked at it, was a very blatant reminder and warning. Of course, the target of the warning wasn't him; it was Echidna, for trying to monopolize the guest.

Accompanied by a very real sensation of falling, the modern hotel room shattered like glass.

Everything around Regulus changed instantly.

Blue sky and white clouds, a gentle breeze, and an endless expanse of vibrant green grass and blooming flowers. Regulus found himself standing in a vast, boundless grassland.

Sitting around a white table in the distance, or lounging on the grass, were six girls of varying statures.

A mature older sister, a young maiden, a timid girl, a girl who gave off a terrifyingly innocent vibe, and a small, seemingly cute loli.

Six Witches of Sin. No, including the white-haired girl who had just materialized beside him, it was seven.

All seven Witches of Sin had arrived.

But among these seven legendary figures, the one Regulus cared about the most was actually the girl standing slightly apart from the table. She was wearing a veil that half-covered her face, and her overall attire consisted of a flowing, shadow-like black dress.

Satella, the Witch of Envy.

She was undeniably the one who had just invaded the illusion to give Echidna a warning.

But before Regulus or any of the Witches could speak, Echidna took the initiative.

"This is my territory!" Echidna declared, stepping forward and directly hugging Regulus's arm, pressing her chest against him possessively. "As the host of the Castle of Dreams, I should have the right to spend time with Regulus first."

Her bold action made the other six Witches—who were obviously very excited and whose eyes had been fixed intensely on Regulus since he appeared—turn to glare at Echidna in perfect unison.

But even under the combined pressure of the world's most terrifying existences, Echidna stubbornly refused to let go.

"Who said that just because it's your territory, you get to go first?" Minerva, the Witch of Wrath, was the first to retort, slamming her fist onto the white table.

"That's right, that's right! Typhon also wants to play with Big Brother first!" Typhon, the Witch of Pride, cheered, her innocent green eyes sparkling dangerously.

"Umm~ I'm so hungry..." Daphne, the Witch of Gluttony, drooled slightly from her coffin-like restraint.

"Food? You promised. When I return to the physical world, you'll treat Daphne to delicious food. Enough for Daphne to eat her fill, even until she's stuffed. Special, delicious food."

"That... I... um..." Carmilla, the Witch of Lust, stammered, blushing furiously and hiding her face behind a scarf.

They clearly didn't agree with Echidna's statement of monopoly.

"Haa~" Sekhmet, the Witch of Sloth, sighed softly from where she was lying lazily on the grass. "Whatever the order is... don't waste time on pointless arguments." She expressed her tired opinion without even sitting up.

As for Satella, the Witch of Envy, she hadn't said a single word.

Without a sound, she walked straight towards Regulus and Echidna. Under the gaze of everyone present, she reached out her shadow-clad hand and directly grasped Regulus's free hand. Her grip was iron-tight.

Her attitude was already very clear. None of the Witches present gave Echidna, the so-called hostess, any face.

"You...!" Echidna's dissatisfaction grew even stronger, glaring at Satella.

But at that moment, Typhon, the smallest in stature, ran over directly and hugged Regulus's thigh. With the loli taking the lead, the other Witches, except for the resting Sekhmet, all started crowding around him.

Faced with such a chaotic, overwhelming scene, Echidna's dark eyes narrowed slightly for a fraction of a second.

Snap.

Instantly, the group of Witches crowding Regulus—Satella, Typhon, Minerva, Daphne, and Carmilla—all disappeared without a trace. The only ones left in the grassy plain were Regulus, Echidna, and Sekhmet in the distance.

A triumphant smile appeared on Echidna's face.

"Alright," Echidna purred, leaning into him again. "Now we can have a good time alone..."

Before the words could finish.

THUMP! A terrifying, deafening sound echoed. The entire world of the Castle of Dreams shook violently. As if caught in a massive earthquake, the grassy plains trembled continuously.

And it wasn't just shaking. Regulus looked up and saw that one side of the blue sky was becoming dim, constantly being dyed a pitch, suffocating black. At the same time, like the sound of shattering glass, massive cracks were spider-webbing across the artificial sky.

Echidna had forcibly driven them out—or rather, isolated them into separate sub-spaces within the Dream. And they were currently breaking their way back in.

"Don't worry about those things," Echidna said quickly, her hands roaming over his chest. "They definitely won't be able to break the isolation barriers in half an hour. This time is for us to be alone. We can do anything, oh."

"Anything is possible?" Regulus raised an eyebrow.

"That's right. Anything is possible here," Echidna whispered, her face flushing slightly. A faint, lustful mist appeared in her dark eyes. "Even that thing... that we hadn't had time to start yet in the hotel."

She was overtly tempting him.

Naturally, Regulus couldn't possibly refuse this kind of situation. Although he didn't know if his Plunder Authority could successfully activate on a soul inside a dreamscape, there was no harm in trying, was there?

"Since that's the case, let's continue then," Regulus agreed, wrapping his arms around her waist. "But before that... let's get a bed first."

"Mm..."

A faint, breathy response.

The next moment, a huge, luxurious canopy bed appeared out of thin air in the middle of the grassy plains.

Faced with the appearance of the bed, Regulus didn't hesitate. He picked the Witch of Greed up in a princess carry, laid her down on the soft mattress, and leaned in to kiss her deeply. His hands immediately went to work, beginning to undo the dark, elegant restraints of her dress. Echidna's body briefly froze in anticipation.

However, the exact moment his fingers touched the final clasp...

CRASH!

Dark, ominous power like a tsunami of black mist suddenly shattered the sky and plummeted directly toward the bed.

The Witches had broken in.

'Didn't you say half an hour!?!' Regulus cursed internally. 'It hadn't even lasted three minutes, okay?!'

When Regulus turned his head to look, he saw the enraged Witches falling alongside the black mist. But more pressingly, he discovered the onslaught of the dark energy was aimed right at the bed.

'I'm screwed!?' he thought, his mood plummeting. 'I'm still holding her! Am I going to be attacked together with Echidna?!'

But just as Regulus was about to activate Stillness to defend himself, an entirely different sensation overtook him.

A feeling of being grabbed. Several invisible hands grabbed him at once, and a massive pulling force yanked him backward, right off the bed.

He brushed past the devastating impact of the black mist—which obliterated the bed and sent Echidna flying with a yelp—and saw the other Witches descending on their "hostess."

But the pulling force on Regulus didn't stop. He was dragged backward through the air, heading straight toward the only Witch who hadn't joined the fray.

Oof!

He crashed directly into Sekhmet, the Witch of Sloth, who was still lazily lying in the tall grass.

She was charging with the ball... No, that way of putting it didn't seem very appropriate. She hadn't crashed into him; her invisible force had pulled him along to crash into her.

But Regulus quickly decided to forget the semantics. Who cared who crashed into whom?

Because landing on this "ball" was incredibly soft, making him feel quite comfortable. He was currently face-first in Sekhmet's exceptionally generous, purple-haired cleavage.

"I'll keep the person safe for now," Sekhmet called out lazily to the brawling Witches. "Next... you all can clean up the sneaking cat who tried to run away with him."

As she spoke, Sekhmet raised her pale arms and securely hugged Regulus's head, pressing his face even deeper into her chest.

Doing this to a normal person would cause them to die from lack of oxygen. But for Regulus, breaking free from this soft imprisonment would be very simple.

Instead of breaking free, he decided to enjoy the hospitality. He turned his head slightly and bit down gently on the soft flesh pressing against his cheek.

"Ugh...!" A faint, breathy moan escaped her lips.

Sekhmet, who usually exuded an aura of absolute, crushing laziness, looked down at Regulus, who was comfortably nestled in her arms.

A faint blush appeared on her pale cheeks—so faint that it was impossible to notice without careful observation. But her bodily reaction was honest. Not only did Sekhmet not let go or push him away, she actually hugged his head even tighter against her chest.
