Chapter 10 - Whispers Of The Past

Scene 1 - The Dairy's Secret
Mia manages to recover charred fragments of her grandmother's dairy. With candlelight, faint words reveal themselves.
"The Witch was not born evil, she was
betrayed by blood, cursed by love."
Su jin Frowns.
Su jin :
"Betrayed....by blood?"
Eunwoo stiffens but says nothing.
Scene 2 - The Vision In The Forest
The group ventures back into the forbidden forest, following strange Whispers only Su jin can hear. They reach a crumbling stone well.
Su jin's wrist glows, pulling her into another vision.
She sees the Witch as a young women – kind gifted, with healing magic. She loved the man who swore to protect her. But when the town turned against her, branding her witch, it was that man who betrayed her to save himself.
Su jin gasps as the man's face becomes clear.
He looks exactly like Eunwoo.
Scene 3 - The Confrontation
Su jin snaps back, staring at Eunwoo.
Su jin :
"It was you...you betrayed her."
The others look at him in shock.
Minho (furious) :
"You are connected to this curse... aren't you?"
Eunwoo lowers his eyes.
Eunwoo (quietly) :
"My ancestor. He was the one who loved her...and condemned her. That's why my family is bound to this curse. And why I am bound to you."
Su jin staggers back, her heart heavy.
Su jin :
"Then may be....this was all meant to happen, because of you."
Eunwoo's face twists with guilt.
Scene 4 - A Divided Group
Tension boils over.
Minho (to Su jin) :
"You can't trust him anymore, he's part of her curse!"
Lisa (defensive) :
"But he's been protecting her since the beginning."
The group splinters into argument. Su jin screams, silencing them.
Su jin (Angrily) :
"STOP!, This curse is not just his, it's mine too. And I won't let it tear us apart."
Scene 5 - The Witch's Lure
That night, Su jin dreams again, She's the witch beautiful but scared, standing in a field of flames.
The Witch (softly) :
"They betrayed me...as they will betray you.
Why suffer for them, child? Join me, end the pain.
Su jin's eyes brim with tears.
Su jin (whispering) :
"I am not you...I can't be you."
The Witch's smile is chilling.
The Witch (Happily) :
"You already are..."
Scene 6 - Eunwoo's Vow
Su jin wakes shaken, She finds Eunwoo sitting outside, staring at the moon.
Su jin (hesitant) :
"Do you regret it ? Carrying her curse?"
Eunwoo turns to her, his silver eyes gleaming faintly.
Eunwoo (firm) :
"I regret her suffering, I regret my ancestors sin. But i will never regret protecting you. If I must die to end this, I Will."
Su jin throat tightens, her heart conflicted between anger, pity, and something deeper which she don't know.
Ending Scene - The Witch's Return
In the forbidden forest, the ground splits wider. a figure begins to emerge from the shadows – the Witch's true form, more human than before, but with burning red eyes.
The Witch (smiling) :
"At last....the blood of my betrayer and my successor stand together. Soon, I will rise.
Chapter 10 - Ended
