I located a chimney and grabbed the pliers from my waist.
The chimney I went to was the one closest to the forest. Just one turn back from one of the nights would cause me my life.
I threw the pliers down as hard as I could and a loud bang sound rumbled throughout the manor. Then I ducked down immediately , not wanting to be seen.
Knights rushed into the manor. I had to get out quickly.
Soon enough the knights would be near the second and first floor windows.
I dashed down the roof and into the forest.
The only problem with this plan was that the forest was not a good environment to be in. It was at least another 100 miles before you got to the next city. But I kept running, knowing that the knights would be back searching for me.
After two hours of running, my body was tired. I had to travel another 90 miles, without a water source or food source.
But the city I was heading towards was the exact one I needed to get to. It was the city where the Count and Countess rule.
Part of the reason I didn't just go the easy route to kill the Baron at night when he was going on a walk was because of this. I would've been really nervous on the trains to be spotted as a murderer.
The Countess was the next target. I had a pretty clear plan on how to kill her, after all I already made some set up the perfect conditions before I killed the Baron.
After another hour of walking I found a clear pond full of water.
