Monetary and Banking System of the Supernatural World

This system is shared and fully integrated across the worlds of High School DxD, Shinmai Maou no Testament, Rosario + Vampire, and Fate, existing above direct political disputes and acting as a silent pillar that maintains balance among all factions.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1 Lucif (Ⱡ)

The Currency of Survival and Hierarchy

Lucif is the official circulating currency of the Underworld, used in everyday demonic life. It represents the structural power of the Underworld and sustains its basic economy.

Appearance:

Circular coins forged from Infernal Iron, a metal cold to the touch with a dark bluish-black hue. At the center, a magical circle is engraved, emitting a faint red glow when the coin is legitimate.

Where it circulates:

Exclusively within the Underworld and among demons residing in the human world. It is used for food, housing, basic services, and internal trade.

Cultural value:

For a demon, possessing large amounts of Lucif signifies efficiency, survival, or influence within the demonic hierarchy.

2. Essentia (✧)

The Diplomatic and High-Value Currency

Essentia was created after the peace pact between major supernatural factions. It is considered a stable currency, accepted throughout nearly the entire hidden world.

Appearance:

Faceted crystals in an octahedral shape, transparent and constantly emitting a white-blue glow.

Where it circulates:

International trade between factions

Black markets for sacred and cursed items

Purchase of legendary weapons, artifacts, and elite contracts

Exchange rate:

1 Essentia (✧) = 100 Lucif (Ⱡ)

3. Underworld Banks

There exist 1 internal Underworld banks, controlled directly by the Great Demonic Families. They have no official support from the International Bank.

True function:

Economic control over low-, middle-, and high-class demons without noble backing or political authority

Abusive debt systems

Constant financial surveillance

These banks exist solely to subjugate demons who lack family support or political protection. They enforce dependency through contracts and debt. A restrictive rule also exists: demons below High-Class are forbidden from leaving the Underworld. Those who wish to reside in the human world must sign binding contracts and obtain the explicit support of one of the Four Great Satans. Without such backing, these demons are barred from opening accounts in the International Bank.

3. International Bank of the Supernatural

The Absolutely Neutral Authority

The International Bank of the Supernatural was founded before the Great War, through a primordial alliance involving:

Lucifer

God

Azazel

Pantheons: Greek, Shinto, Yōkai, Norse

Elves, vampires, magi, and other ancient factions

Each world (High School DxD, Shinmai Maou no Testament, Rosario + Vampire, Fate) possesses its own administrative division within the bank, all functioning under a single neutral system.

The bank cannot be manipulated by any entity—divine, demonic, or otherwise.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4. Structure of the International Bank

Located in a separate, indestructible dimension

Cannot be invaded, destroyed, erased, or sealed

Operates through an extremely advanced self-aware system

Automatically updates its internal laws and functions every 100 years

Guardians

Ancient entities similar to dwarves or goblins (Gringotts-like), created by the system itself:

Feel no fear, ambition, or political loyalty

Exist solely to protect the bank and preserve monetary balance

Capable of performing investments and financial operations across all currencies—though no faction is aware of the full extent of these abilities

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

5. Vault System Universal Access

Any conscious being with knowledge of the supernatural may create a vault:

Demons, vampires, angels, magi, spirits

Humans aware of the supernatural world

The bank does not discriminate based on race, power, or status.

Vault Tiers

Low-Level Vault

Annual fee: 10 Essentia (✧)

Mid-Level Vault

Annual fee: 50 Essentia (✧)

High-Level Vault

Annual fee: 1,000 Essentia (✧)

Elite Vault

Annual fee: 10,000 Essentia (✧)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6. Free Vaults

Granted exclusively to the original founders of the bank pact and their direct bloodlines, under strict and non-transferable conditions.

Absolute Vault

Value is immeasurable and defined individually by the bank

Non-negotiable

Access restricted to:

Sovereign great factions

Kings and rulers of realms

Supreme generals

Legendary heroes and elite-class champions

Mythical assassins across DxD, Shinmai, Rosario, and Fate

Supreme magi of all four worlds

Exceptionally wealthy supernatural or human families

Even so, the bank reserves the right to deny access without explanation.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7. Fundamental Rules

No vault may be accessed by third parties

Not Satans, gods, councils, nor kings are exempt

Access is bound strictly to the registered individual or reigning leader, verified through blood-based authentication

The International Bank of the Supernatural is the sole authority

The bank does not judge morality. It merely observes, records, and preserves balance. Any pact, contract, or large-scale transaction involving Essentia must be registered through the bank, which forges the binding contract. The involved parties need only sign and seal it with blood.
