Harry Potter Fanfic: Bloodlines Never Die
Title: Agent of Arcane Blood
Genre: HP AU, System, Bloodline, Action, Politics
MC: James Bond (Wizarding World, not the Muggle spy… mostly)
Prologue – The Bond Legacy
In the wizarding world, some families were old.
Others were ancient.
The House of Bond belonged to the latter.
Their name had been erased from most modern records, their deeds quietly locked away by the Department of Mysteries. Not because they were Dark—but because they were too adaptable.
The Bonds did not inherit a single bloodline.
They collected them.
Through ritual, conquest, contracts, and occasionally marriage, the Bond bloodline absorbed fragments of others—never enough to overwrite itself, but enough to learn.
That was why the Wizengamot feared them.
That was why the family vanished.
And that was why, on a stormy night in 1980, the Bloodline Core chose a new host.
Chapter 1 – The System Awakens
James Bond knew two things for certain:
He was four years old.
Something had just woken up inside him.
He sat cross-legged on the cold stone floor of the Bond ancestral vault, lightning flashing through the runes carved into the walls. His parents lay unconscious behind him—alive, but drained. The ritual circle glowed a deep, violent gold.
Then the world paused.
A voice echoed—not aloud, but directly into his mind.
[Bloodline Fusion System Initializing…]
[Host Identified: James Bond]
[Compatibility: 100% — Pure Bond Core Detected]
James blinked.
He did not panic.
Panic was inefficient.
[Primary Bloodline: Bond – Adaptive Arcane Lineage]
[Effect: Allows controlled fusion, suppression, and optimization of inherited bloodlines.]
Lines of translucent text hovered before his eyes, crisp and impossibly sharp.
[Secondary Bloodlines Detected (Dormant):]
• Peverell (Fragmented – Death Affinity)
• Black (Mental Resistance – Partial)
• Emrys (Ancient Merlin Line – Sealed)
James felt… calm. Focused. Like the world had finally snapped into alignment.
[Warning: Host age limits fusion access.]
[Passive Abilities Unlocked:]
• Enhanced Magical Perception
• Intent Suppression
• Emotional Regulation
That explained why he wasn't screaming.
The ritual circle shattered.
Time resumed.
His mother gasped awake. His father followed seconds later, scrambling toward him in panic.
"James!" his mother cried, hands gripping his shoulders. "Are you hurt?"
James looked up at her, blue eyes far too sharp for a child.
"No, Mum," he said evenly. "But the ritual worked."
Both parents froze.
"That's… impossible," his father whispered. "The Core shouldn't awaken until—"
"—puberty," James finished. "Yes. I know."
Silence fell.
The family magic stirred uneasily.
James tilted his head. "Also, we're being watched. Two wards have been breached. Subtle ones."
His father's wand was in his hand instantly.
"By who?"
James smiled faintly.
