"What the hell is this?" Harley mumbled, looking at the structure ahead of them.
Of course, Quinn's report was a bit exaggerated, but it was not completely wrong. Inside this dreadful valley, there was indeed a house not too far away from them.
The wardens were the first to approach, holding lanterns with crystals within. Alden seemed calm as he took the lead.
Soon enough, there was a house not far away from them. Well, it wasn't a complete house, though.
There were sacks that seemed to be filled with sand, forming a wall, and wooden platforms holding a ceiling made of leaves.
Now, however, over half of the wall was destroyed, and the ceiling had a large hole in it, as if something had crashed into this place violently.
"There's no one here!" Alden announced, looking at Gregory.
"Surround the location. Be alert," Gregory ordered the soldiers, and they immediately got into formation.
