Synopsis
After transmigrating into a fallen nobleman of the interstellar era, Zhao Chen was handed a complete mess— A barren territory, scarce resources, and a broken-down starship. No Stargate in the territory? We’ll build our own! No starships? Interstellar destroyers, frigates, cruisers—whatever we need, we’ll make it. Commanding a carrier packed with drone swarms that attack like a hive of bees, Zhao Chen asserted dominance on the battlefield. All truths lie within the firing range of a battleship’s main guns. The Empire developed T5-tech starships? Sorry, I’ve already got a whole fleet of T5 starships in active service! In Zhao Chen’s dictionary, there’s nothing a starship can’t solve. And if there is— Send two more fleets! Passerby A: “I want to enlist! I want to join Commander Zhao Chen’s fleet!” Zhao Chen: “Sorry, I only recruit women.”

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 The System Is Playing Tricks

"Everyone knows that in this era, Stargate technology is the most crucial aspect of interstellar travel. However, Stargates can only be constructed in star systems with two suns, which means one-third of star systems still cannot have Stargates built..."

Zhao Chen groggily opened his eyes, feeling dizzy. If he remembered correctly, he had stayed up late gaming last night and dozed off in class today. Strangely, the usually strict teacher nicknamed "The Nun" hadn't woken him up.

Suddenly, Zhao Chen froze.

The entire classroom looked wrong.

The desks weren't wooden anymore but made of some pure white special material, with a holographic screen floating before each student. Their uniforms had transformed into something straight out of a sci-fi space opera.

Zhao Chen reached out to touch the seemingly transparent display screen before him. To his surprise, his fingers encountered resistance at first, but when he pushed harder, his hand passed right through.

"What the..." Zhao Chen's eyes widened as he looked around.

Where the wall should be, there was now a floor-to-ceiling window displaying a breathtaking view of the Milky Way - the kind only seen in educational programs. Electronic paintings adorned the classroom walls, depicting not naval ships but what looked like interstellar warships from video games!

Then Zhao Chen saw the teacher at the podium and nearly fell out of his seat.

It was a humanoid creature wearing clothes, but its head had no hair - instead covered in vine-like patterns, with butterfly-wing shaped ears on either side. This was definitely not human!

Just as Zhao Chen wondered if he was dreaming, a flood of memories surged into his mind.

The interstellar era... the Stellar Glory Empire... Galactic Calendar Year 3030... North Star Starship Military Academy...

Zhao Chen... Captaincy Department... Third year... Cadet...

Zhao Chen clutched his head in pain.

"Old Zhao, you okay? Not feeling well?" A concerned voice came from beside him.

Zhao Chen turned to see a male classmate. Memories identified him as Li Wei, his good friend.

"I'm fine, probably just stayed up too late." Zhao Chen waved him off, pretending everything was normal while internally processing his situation.

He had transmigrated!

To an interstellar era.

This was a starship military academy of the Stellar Glory Empire, where he was a cadet majoring in starship command, training to become a starship captain.

Zhao Chen felt his pocket, finding a small medicine bottle. If he remembered correctly, the original owner of this body had committed suicide by poison after a failed romance, allowing him to transmigrate into this namesake's body.

[Ding... Super Interstellar Fleet System binding in progress... Binding complete... Host: Zhao Chen...]

A mechanical female voice suddenly echoed in his mind.

[Newcomer gift package opening...]

[Congratulations on obtaining 100 System Points]

[Congratulations on obtaining 'Top Starship Engineer' profession]

[Congratulations on obtaining 'T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser' technical blueprint]

[Congratulations on obtaining one random special attribute draw]

After a brief moment of shock, Zhao Chen realized - this was his transmigrator's golden finger!

With a thought, a virtual interface appeared before his eyes:

[Host: Zhao Chen

Profession: Top Starship Engineer

Special Attributes: None

Points: 100

Starships: 0

Missions: Quarterly Mission (unclaimed)

Inventory: T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser technical blueprint]

Zhao Chen skimmed the interface, seeing the rewards he'd just received.

Top Starship Engineer?

He raised his hand and used the desk's holographic computer to look up starship manufacturing knowledge. To his amazement, he instantly understood everything he read, even able to extrapolate further.

"So I can build starships myself?" Zhao Chen thought excitedly.

Looking further down:

Points?

[Points: System Points are generated daily based on starships owned (must be built from system blueprints), and can also be obtained by completing system missions. Points can be exchanged for 'products' in the System Store.]

Zhao Chen checked the so-called System Store, which contained starship blueprints and various other products, all at T1 technology level.

In this world, technology products were classified as T1, T2, T3 and so on, same for starships. Higher tiers meant stronger combat capabilities and more advanced technology.

Thus, the 'T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser' blueprint Zhao Chen obtained was extremely valuable!

A T3 starship blueprint was worth billions in the Stellar Glory Empire. Currently, the Empire had fewer than ten types of T3 starships in active service, demonstrating their rarity.

If people knew Zhao Chen possessed such a blueprint, the entire Empire would be in an uproar.

But Zhao Chen understood the saying "a common man's wealth brings ruin" - he couldn't reveal this until he had sufficient strength.

Unfortunately, Zhao Chen currently lacked the means to build a T3 starship. From his memories, constructing one required at least 10 million stellar credits worth of materials and construction costs. He still had a long way to go before owning such a starship.

As for the quarterly mission shown in the system interface:

Every three months, a mission would automatically generate with rewards upon completion.

Zhao Chen claimed his first quarterly mission.

[Quarterly Mission: Own one starship (system-produced)]

Quite challenging.

There was also something special - 'Special Attributes'.

Zhao Chen selected the 'Attributes' option, bringing up a window:

[Host will randomly select one attribute and its conditions from below]

[Option 1: Host's fleet can only recruit male crew, granting fleet combat bonus and Inspiring Voice]

[Option 2: Host's fleet can only recruit female crew, granting fleet luck bonus and Insightful Eye]

[Option 3: Host's fleet can only recruit non-humanoid crew, granting fleet loyalty bonus and Universal Language]

Zhao Chen's face darkened - was this system playing tricks on him?
