Chapter 217 - filler 28

The Tactical Butt-Dial

The Judiciary Guards violently shoved the disgraced Forest Minister toward the back of a heavily armored, military-grade prison transport vehicle. The entire forest clearing was still actively on fire from the civilian airstrikes, but the cinematic camera completely ignored the burning wreckage to focus on the deep, emotional betrayal happening at the back of the van.

Just before the heavy steel doors slammed shut, the Forest Minister looked over his shoulder.

Standing in the mud, completely untouched by the civil war he had just caused, was Bunti. The heavily armored lumberjack wasn't holding his chainsaw anymore. He was just standing there, a deeply arrogant, highly cinematic, mastermind grin stretched across his face.

The Forest Minister gasped, his eyes going wide with pure realization. It was all a setup.

"You!" the Forest Minister screamed, aggressively grabbing the bars of the prison van. "You are the real bastard behind all of this! I knew it! You planned this entire civilian uprising!"

Bunti casually adjusted his bulletproof firefighter jacket, his grin growing wider.

"You are just getting punished for taking bribes, Minister," Bunti stated, his voice dripping with absolute, unapologetic protagonist swagger. "I didn't plan a rebellion. I just happened to have my phone in my pocket. I mistakenly butt-dialed the live news reporter right before you confessed. It was just a highly normal, completely accidental pocket-dial. It happens to everyone."

The cinematic music paused for exactly one second.

"A butt-dial?!" the narrator screamed, completely losing his mind again. "He was holding a two-hundred-pound industrial chainsaw with both hands! How do you accidentally dial a live news station through Kevlar trousers?! This script is a biological crime!"

The Ultimate Snitch

Before the Forest Minister could even yell back at Bunti's terrible excuse, a massive, obnoxious fleet of stretch limousines aggressively pulled into the destroyed clearing, crushing the flaming remains of a police cruiser.

The doors flew open, and out stepped the President of the Country himself, looking incredibly pristine and totally unbothered by the fact that he was standing in an active warzone.

The Forest Minister completely lost whatever was left of his mind. He aggressively pointed a shaking finger at the President and the Toothpick CEO Officer.

"Arrest them!" the Forest Minister shrieked at the top of his lungs, deciding to aggressively snitch on the entire corporate ecosystem of the country. "They are the ones who gave me the bribe! Why are you only arresting me?! Why are you not putting handcuffs on this fucking military officer?!"

The Judiciary Guards completely ignored him, trying to push him into the van, but the Minister held onto the door frame with the absolute grip of a desperate, corrupt politician.

"Why the fuck are you not arresting them! The president accepted the bribes too !!" the Minister roared, staring directly into the camera lens to expose everyone on live television. "You want to know who is funding this?! Sevilson Steel! Lalesh Energy Limited! Halvesh Industry! They all paid for this forest!"

The President aggressively cleared his throat, looking highly uncomfortable.

"Arrest the head of the Moyal family!" the Minister shrieked, absolutely refusing to go to jail alone. "Arrest Lion Bebeztez! And arrest the President of this godforsaken country, Fywon Hadeous! Arrest them all! These guys gave me the bribes! They are the real culprits! It is totally, legally unfair that I am the only one going to federal prison for this!"

The Judiciary Guards finally got tired of the screaming, violently kicked the Minister in the shins, and slammed the heavy iron doors shut on his face.

The Royal Sneeze

Meanwhile, miles away from the Kavilson Steel executive lounge, deep inside a breathtakingly massive, outrageously luxurious palace, sat the actual Head of the Royal Family.

Leon was lounging in an obscenely expensive, hand-carved mahogany armchair. He was dressed in flawless, royal-tailored silk garments that cost more than the entire gross domestic product of a small island nation. The room was perfectly silent, bathed in the soft glow of diamond-encrusted chandeliers, smelling of aged wine and unparalleled, undisputed wealth.

Leon gracefully lifted a priceless porcelain teacup to his lips.

Suddenly, he stopped. His aristocratic nose twitched.

With profound, majestic elegance, Leon Debeztez let out a perfectly composed, highly refined sneeze into a monogrammed silk handkerchief.

"Achoo."

Leon slowly lowered the handkerchief, his sharp, calculating eyes narrowing in mild, aristocratic annoyance. He gently placed the teacup back onto its golden saucer, the faint clink echoing through the massive royal chamber.

"How utterly peculiar," Leon murmured to himself, his voice echoing with absolute, unquestionable royal authority. "The ancient peasant myths dictate that one only sneezes when they are being vehemently spoken of..."

Leon elegantly crossed one leg over the other, staring thoughtfully into the roaring fireplace. He was completely, blissfully unaware that a C-tier cinematic propaganda film was currently broadcasting across the nation, actively mocking his bloodline by legally referring to him as 'Lion Bebeztez' of the 'Moyal Family' just to avoid a defamation lawsuit.

"I wonder," Leon mused, his tone dripping with bored, majestic arrogance. "Is some insignificant commoner daring to speak my name at this very hour? Or perhaps some uncultured swine is currently butchering my flawless title in public? Either way... they should learn to whisper. It is violently interrupting my tea time."

The Final Hypocrisy

The cinematic camera aggressively violently zoomed back to the destroyed, burning forest clearing, pushing right up against the iron bars of the Judiciary Guard's transport van.

The Forest Minister was gripping the bars, his face pressed against the metal, crying cartoonish, highly exaggerated tears of absolute bureaucratic despair.

"Please! Spare my life!" the Forest Minister shrieked, his voice cracking as he begged the completely indifferent guards. "I did nothing wrong! Arrest them too! The President! The Moyal family! Why am I the only one being arrested?! This is wrong! This is totally, fundamentally, legally wrong!"

The Judiciary Guard simply rolled his eyes, slapped the side of the van, and the vehicle sped off into the sunset, leaving the corrupt politician to his completely legally justified doom.

The Grand Reveal

The screen violently transitioned with a bright, glowing star-wipe effect, cutting to an outrageously lavish, brightly lit national auditorium.

Standing in the dead center of the stage, underneath a massive, glowing golden banner, was the President of the Country. He was smiling warmly for the press cameras, completely ignoring the fact that he had been publicly accused of accepting massive corporate bribes just five minutes ago in cinematic time.

Standing right next to him was Bunti.

Bunti was still wearing his heavily armored, bulletproof firefighter trousers and his high-visibility jacket, but now he had a massive, shiny golden medal draped around his neck.

The President firmly shook Bunti's hand, looking deeply into the lumberjack's eyes with absolute, unadulterated national pride.

"You did a really great job, Bunti," the President announced, his voice echoing majestically through the auditorium microphones. "You successfully manipulated the corrupt corporations, delayed the logging operation with your sheer melodrama, and united the citizens. You, Bunti, are a real Tree Spy activist."

The epic orchestral music swelled to a triumphant, deafening climax.

The deep, exhausted voice of the narrator broke through the audio one final time, his tone dripping with sheer, mind-numbing realization.

"Wait... what?" the narrator gasped, completely breaking the fourth wall as the pieces finally clicked together in his head. "That is what the title meant?! He was a spy this entire time?! His master espionage tactic to save the forest was to just aggressively delay the woodcutting until a live news reporter showed up and caused a civilian civil war?! That isn't espionage! That is just weaponized incompetence! Who wrote this script?!"

Before the narrator could mentally break down any further, the screen abruptly cut to black.

In massive, glowing pink cursive letters, the final words appeared on the screen:

THE FUCKING END.
