Chapter 23 - Sevgilim...

[Dance practice room]

Through the glass, people moved on the street—coming and going, blurred but clear.

The practice room was empty. Everyone had already gone outside.

Hira still leaned against the mirror.

Slowly, she rose.

She placed the water bottle on the floor.

The song started again—I can't help but love you, even though I try not to…

Hira melted into the rhythm, lost.

Minase and Geone were almost home.

Minase smiled,"When I first met Era… it was the best day of my life?"

Geone paused. "Best day… huh?! Have you forgotten all the humiliation?"

"That was your fault. I only saw Era."

"Minase… your eyes went blind in love."

Geone scoffed, mimicking Minase, "Oh, she's so beautiful."

"He He.. Very funny!" Minase mocked back."You also took your thirty-day revenge in one day! Right?"

Geone looked ahead, kicked a small stone, nodded. "Hmmm!" His face wore a mixed expression.

After reaching to the main door, Minase pressed the doorbell.

Suga was brushing Charlie's body with cold water.

Hearing the doorbell. He left the room, went to the dining area, and opened the door to the outdoors.

"Geone! So late?"He asked .

Without saying a word, Geone hurried inside and went straight to his own room.

"Bro…so much happened…!" Minase muttered, exhausted, glancing at Suga.

When Geone entered the room, he saw Charlie sitting on the bed, eyes closed, leaning slightly backward with both hands resting behind him.

Next to him, the bowl of cold water.

Geone quickly went to sit beside Charlie.

"Charlie…?"

Charlie opened his eyes in slow motion.

Geone, restless, worried asked,

"Still burning?"

The icy water on Charlie's body began to soothe him. His eyelids drooped—about to close.

"No!!" he tried to say loudly, his voice tight in his throat, but it came out shallow.

Seeing Charlie's wet body, Geone hurried to find a towel. He searched for almost ten minutes But the wardrobe, the drawers—nothing. No towel was anywhere.

Charlie stared at Geone with half-lidded eyes, as if knowing Geone might never find the towel.

Frustration grew in Geone as he searched each single place.

He was about to call Suga when Charlie spoke softly, almost hollow.

"It's on the second shelf, all the way in the corner."

Geone looked at Charlie's half-closed eyes.

There were no glasses on his face—his large hazel eyes were clouded with sleep, heavy, unfocused.

Without wasting a second, Geone reached up to the second shelf and pulled down a towel.

He came back and stood close to Charlie again.

"Are you feeling sleepy?" he asked.

Charlie lifted his head up slightly.

The half-open eyes slowly opened fully.

Geone began wiping Charlie's body—

all of it.

Geone's eyes were fixed on Charlie's body,

while Charlie's gaze stayed locked on Geone.

Charlie clenched the bedsheet tightly in his fist.

Everything felt strange—too strange...

It felt as if his breath was getting trapped somewhere inside his chest.

Geone looked at him and said something—

something—

What is he..?

What! is he saying?

Charlie's thought went blank.

Geone's voice didn't seem to reach Charlie's ears at all.

Suddenly, an overwhelming heat spread through his body.

Geone is saying something...?!!!! I couldn't hear..

Charlie wanted to respond—

but he couldn't.

Everything felt blurred, unreal.

He could only make out Geone's face.

Everything else faded—sometimes white, sometimes black,

sometimes nothing at all.

The mole beneath Geone's lips stood out sharply.

His dark eyes looked impossibly beautiful.

Geone's scent—

that strange, intoxicating, dangerously beautiful scent—

it felt as though it was corrupting Charlie's brain.

Inside him, all sensations seemed to dissolve.

Charlie reached up and touched the marks Geone had left on his throat.

It felt as if something inside him was drying up, collapsing...

He gripped those places with his hand—

so tightly it felt like blood might spill out.

Your touch crossed beyond flesh,Geone—

Charlie wanted to touch Geone the way

he had touched him—

as if he had drawn the marrow from Charlie's bones.

Charlie's eyes closed.

Geone's scent.

Geone's presence.

Geone's eyes.

Each place on Charlie's skin, Geone, had touched.

The way Geone inhaled his scent through his nose,

as if pulling it straight from his skin.

Every inch of Charlie's body seemed branded

with the trace of Geone's teeth.

The way Geone's mouth had drawn all breath, each trace of saliva from him..

The imprint of every press of Geone's lips along his neck.

Gozlarin–your eyes –left wounds that could undo me.

Charlie's right hand inched slowly toward Geone, trembling yet desperate.

Geone's scent intoxicated him, drove him unsteady.

An unbearable thirst burned inside Charlie—violent, consuming all rational thought.

He parted Geone's lips; Geone's breath trapped his own.

Charlie gripped Geone's lips harder.

Then, inch by inch, his hand slid to Geone's throat—fingers wrapping the Adam's apple in a relentless, almost obsessive motion.

Charlie rose to his feet and gripped Geone's throat tightly.

Geone's scent had driven him mad.

Charlie tilted his head back, mouth open, dragging in breath, drawing in the tension, the heat, the raw presence of Geone.

With the hand clenched around Geone's throat, he pulled him close—skin to skin.

Geone's eyes were blurred, unfocused.

Charlie inhaled the scent of the skin beneath the mole under Geone's lips.

He drank in the scent of each inch of Geone's face,

every single curve,

all of its warmth,

without exception, the entirety of it.

His own lips felt dry, cracked—like a desert.

He pushed his lips into Geone's mouth, desperate to quench the raging thirst inside him.

Geone sank onto the bed beneath him, yet not for a single heartbeat did Charlie's lips leave him.

His left hand tangled itself in Geone's deep, black curls, pulling him closer, claiming him.

His right hand still held the throat, still asserting dominance, still needing.

His grip in the hair tightened, released slightly, then shifted again, every movement wild, unmeasured.
