She turned to Aren and asked: "What do you think we should do?"
Iris frowned upon seeing this.
She wanted to avoid Aren if possible, only dealing with Lisa; however, if Aren were to interfere in the decision-making, she would have to offer him benefits as well.
After all, why would he agree if he wasn't benefiting in any way?
She clenched her fists under the table, her gaze fixed on Aren as she waited for his response.
Aren, however, curled his lips into a polite smile as he replied flatly:
"Decline, of course."
Iris shot him a look of contempt, cursing internally: 'I knew it! This greedy bastard wants benefits as well.'
However, before offering Aren anything, she turned to Lisa to try to persuade her to not let herself be influenced by Aren:
"Ms. Lisa. This is your decision to make. You are the victim, after all. Please do not let yourself be influenced by someone else. The benefits we are offering will change your life, taking you to newer heights."
