When Finnick turned me around forcefully, he froze.
Tears were streaming down my face.
"Let go of me!" I shouted, completely losing control. "My mom needs surgery! Let go!"
Finnick's eyes darkened, but he didn't release me. Instead, he pulled me tightly into his arms.
"Vivian, calm down," he ordered firmly. "Even if you run there now, you won't make it in time. Let me call Noah and have him arrange everything at the hospital."
