No One's Pov
Before Vivien could even process the horror in front of her, the air behind her turned cold.
Dante had moved in silence, appearing right at her back. He leaned down, his breath falling against her ear. He could see the tiny hairs on the back of her neck standing up in pure terror.
"Are you looking for this, Amore Mio?" he whispered. The vibration of his voice sent a shiver down her spine.
Vivien's heart was thumping rapidly. She shakily turned her head to look at him and found him leaning down close.
She came face to face with him, her nose brushing against his. The man in front of her felt truly horrifying now, she had always known he was the cruel, but seeing this level of cruelty was insane.
Then, her eyes caught something in his hand.
He followed her gaze and smirked, his eyes glinting with a dark satisfaction. Finally, he moved his hand into the light, showing her exactly what he was holding.
