I came home afterwards.I was hell tired 😫. But my mind drifted to that ghost of my past. I need to find the the truth.The uncertainty was like a cold weight in my chest.I called Lia (Jay's gang members ; bestfriend) and asked her to check the truth.
I took my medicine 💊 and drifted to Sleep 😴. Morning 🌅 came soon then I expected.
I woke up and checked the message from Mira.
Mira
He's dead Jay .
There is no other information.
He is a ghost.
Let him be

I was convincing myself that what Mira said was true, though my gut refused to settle .My phone buzzed .

I ignored it as I was not in mood right now. I ate my breakfast .I was so stressed so I ate only 5 pancake 🥞 and 3 sandwich 🥪.I headed to school with Aries.
I entered section e. Cin greetede with a warm hug. I noticed his smile was more natural and real.I hope his parents are not forcing him now. Seeing him happy brought a flicker of genuine relief to my heavy heart
"Class, assembled at main hall ",Sir Alvin said to us.
"Why sir ??",David asked.
"Principal's order.Some new student are coming from other school for educational program",Sir explained.
We all nodded and move to the main hall. Every section was present there.Principal Sir arrived and went to stage.
"Dear students, We have some students from St Paul's school , London for educational program. They will be here for two weeks.Having classes with you all",he announced.
Wait..Wait . Isn't it Mia's school ?? Is she coming here..My heart skipped a beat—a mix of excitement and sudden worry.
"I hope you all will behave properly.And don't cause any trouble ",he continued looking at us.
"They are here ",Mam cindy said.
I saw 15-16 students coming inside. I was searching for Mia.She came inside last when gave me a wide smile 😁 and went to stage with other. The moment I saw her, the stress of the morning started to melt away.
"Welcome students", Principal Sir said welcoming them.He look towards us ,"Class Presidents, Introduce you section".
"Hello 👋, I'm Freya Hidalgo, President of Section A."
"Hello , I'm Ethan Bautista Gonzales, President of Section B"
"Hello everyone 👋 I'm RaKki San Diego , President of Section C"
"Hii , I'm Gabriel Ramos Santos , President of Section D"
"Hi, I'm Mark Keifer Watson, President of Section E ",Keifer said in his bossy and firm voice.
"So , you all can decide which section you want to join ", Principal asked them
Everyone selected their no one selected Section E yet good.I know our school must have warned them before joining us.
"I want to join Section E ",Mia said .
"Mia , wait ..",her teacher tried to stop her. She ignored him and ran down to me and hugged me and said ,"I want to be with My Sis ".Her hug was the anchor I didn't know I needed.
"Wait.. Are you Ms.Mariano ",the teacher asked me. I nodded.
"I'm Mia is joining , I'm also joining section e", a boy said.
"No need",Mia said and rolled her eyes.
"Behave, Sam",his teacher warned him.
"So, you are Sam",I said looking at him.The temperature in the room seemed to drop as I locked eyes with him.
"Yes ,I'm Sam Reyes",he said. I felt a surge of dark satisfaction seeing him squirm."So can I join you section ",he asked .
"Sorry , we don't allow stray dogs inside ",I said to him . Others chuckled.
"You are disrespecting me",Sam said .
"Oh, please you I don't this respect one who did not have respect ",and ,"You should listen to your dad . You know that , right ??",I asked him smirking 😏
"So , it was you . Wasn't you?",he asked me.
"Yeah, boy . It was me ", I said to him
"What you mean Sam ??",one of the boy seem like his friend asked.
"This bitch, forced our partners to back off.My father scold me because of her ",he said with anger in his eyes.
"Really , Sis .You did that ."Mia asked looking surprise.
"He crossed his line.He needed a lesson.But I think the lesson was not enough ",I said looking at him .
After hearing that he started cursing me ,"You bitch, what can you do ? You slut.."
A solid punch 👊 land straight on his jaw.It was Mia.The sound of the impact echoed, fueled by her pure, unadulterated rage.
"You gago, bastard, how dare you talk to me sis like that ?",Mia shouted at him punching again.
His friend tried to attack Mia.I was quick.I hold his hand , twisted it at his back and gave a solid kick. "TOUCH HER",I warned him with pure terror in eyes.The protective instinct in me roared like a physical flame.
"Enough class", Principal Sir said.
Some of Sam friend came toward us attacking. Section e stood beside me . There was no hesitation; they moved as one, a wall of silent, deadly support.
"Trying touching them ",Cin said looking at them.
Their eye saying Take one more step and we show you what section e is.
"Only ,Mia is joining our class.And nobody else.We will take our leave sir ",Keifer said .
"Sam, get ready for apologizing Mia publicly ",I whispered to him and went to the class.
Sir Alvin entered the class."Jay, what with the matter today ?"he asked me.
"Sir that boy was troubling my sister so I conforted him."I said to him. He nodded and said no to act harshly again.
"Miss Mia , would you introduce yourself ",Sir asked to Mia.
"Hi 👋Mia Lumima Castro. I'm from Saint Paul's as you all know. I'm a hacker . And ofcourse my sis baby.",she said confidently.
"You are not her baby ",Cin said.
"I'm" said Mia.
Not again, please.Someone stop them .I really want to throw them out but I can't as I love them.A small, weary smile touched my lips; this chaotic love was my favorite kind of exhausting.
Mia's POV
I said to teacher I will join sis class and ran to her.But this Asshole Sam said he will also join following me.
She looked at me then him and asked, You are Sam . He agreed.I thought she was letting him in section . Instead she said , Our section don't have space for stray dogs .
That's my sister.That is why is my inspiration she could roast anyone.I felt a swell of pride watching her command the room.She and Sam started talking something about Dad , advise , etc.
Looks like sis taught him a lesson.But it was not enough.He started cursing her.My blood boiled at his words; no one talks to my sister like that.I can't take it anymore I punched him hard.
His friend tried to attack from back but sis blocked it and kicked him.It must be paining I know.
Other boys started coming toward us.But other section e stood beside us as an army."Try touching them",Cin said.
Oh..my I'm so touched.They really care for sis.The sense of belonging I felt in that moment was overwhelming.I don't why sis didn't introduced them to me.
Keifer's POV
I stood there with my arms crossed, looking as bored as possible, but my eyes never really left Jay. She looked exhausted, and it took everything in me not to walk over and demand to know who had been keeping her up. I hide it behind a scowl and sharp words, but every time she looks away, my gaze softens just for a second before I catch myself.
When the Principal called for the introductions, I stepped up. "Hi, I'm Mark Keifer Watson, President of Section E," I said, my voice firm and bossy.
I played the part of the arrogant leader perfectly, but inside, I was hyper-aware of Jay's presence behind me. I wanted to sound strong—strong enough for her to lean on, even if she'd never admit she needed to.
Then the chaos started. This Sam kid started opening his mouth, and the more he talked, the more my blood began to simmer. But when he called her those names—bitch, slut—it felt like something snapped inside my chest. A raw, violent rage flared up, hotter than anything I've felt before. My vision narrowed to just his face, and I wanted to break every bone in his body for even thinking those words toward her.
I was ready to lung, but Mia got there first. Then Jay moved, lethal and graceful as always. Seeing her fight back made my heart ache with a mix of pride and agony; I hated that she had to be this tough, and I hated even more that I had to keep my distance to maintain this stupid mask of indifference.
When Sam's friends tried to move in, I didn't hesitate. I stepped in front of Jay, my back to her, acting as her shield. I let my aura turn cold and deadly, my eyes promising a slow end to anyone who took another step.
"Only, Mia is joining our class. And nobody else. We will take our leave sir," I snapped. I needed to get her out of there before I lost control and actually killed someone.
As we walked back to the room, I kept my pace steady, never looking back at her. It's a torturous game I am playing—treating her like no one while my heart is screaming to pull her aside and tell her she's my everything.
In class, watching Cin and Mia fight for her attention, I just leaned back and looked out the window. My jaw was still tight from the anger I felt toward Sam. Now I know one thing Mia is not someone ordinary. She's the treasure 🪙 Jay's protecting.
