Robert is a high school student trapped in an ordinary, painful existence. Bullied relentlessly and treated as a stepping stone by his peers, he feels invisible except to his own family. Yet even their love can’t shield them from the cruelty of relatives who make their lives a living hell. Everything changes when a mysterious crystal from another world crashes into his backyard. Drawn by curiosity, Robert touches the strange object and awakens an ancient power. The crystal grants him the ability to cultivate, and from within emerges a guardian spirit who becomes his master, guiding him onto a path of strength he never knew existed. Now, Robert walks between two worlds: his own modern Earth, filled with hidden dangers and unfolding mysteries, and a vast, ruthless cultivation realm where power means everything. With every step, he grows stronger, facing trials, forging alliances, and uncovering secrets that will shake both worlds. But his journey is not just about power, it’s about vengeance, protection, and pride. From the boy who was once trampled upon, a warrior rises. Chapter 1 - That isn't a star, it's moving!

Robert lived under constant bullying in high school. It was a torment; every single day went by with him being bullied and sometimes beaten up. His brother was also bullied, but Robert couldn't stand up to defend him.

He felt life was really unfair and cruel. Why should life be so mean to me? His peers trampled on him and used him as a stepping stone. School was a torment. At home, things weren't much better. His parents were ridiculed and mocked by their own relatives, who called them wastes because they weren't rich.

His family was just an ordinary family, living their life to the fullest and content with what they had. His parents had a great sense of parenthood; they always kept encouraging him no matter what. They made sure to provide for him and his two siblings, Sammy and Elena, yet still they were mocked by others and looked down upon. Robert always had a raging anger inside him. He felt like making those who mocked his parents miserable, but he was helpless and weak.

He wondered what he was still living for in this world when he couldn't protect himself or his brother from bullying and stand up to his bullies. When he couldn't protect his parents' dignity from being shattered, he couldn't protect himself, so how could he protect others? He felt weak. Was he going to be a weakling forever? he always thought.

In a seemingly wide compound, a teenage boy with short black hair and bright blue eyes that sparkled like dazzling stars, wearing a white top and shorts, lay on the grass. He stared at the pitch dark sky, full of a myriad of shining stars as the moonlight lightened up the surroundings. A gentle breeze blew, moving the blossoming flowers and grasses under the beautiful moonlight. The sounds of insects could be heard as they played their melodious songs in the tranquil, bright night.

The air howled as the cool night breeze blew; the tree leaves fluttered, making a rustling sound, and the stars glittered with flickering lights. The moon was high in the sky, casting its light upon the young boy who stared at the sky with a gaze filled with anger and sadness.

The boy raised his arm towards the sky and moon.

"Hah…"

He sighed, took a deep breath, and continued staring at the starry night sky.

"Why does my family have to go through such ill treatment? Why do they have to suffer when they try their best?"

He clenched his fist, anger in his eyes.

"Why do I have to suffer from constant bullying all the time? Why is fate so cruel to me?"

Tears welled up in his eyes.

"Is this the way things are going to be forever?"

He immediately sat up, his short black hair fluttering in the wind.

"Why can't I fight back? Why can't I stand up for my parents and prevent mockery from others?"

Sob.

Tears rolled down his cheek as he spoke, sadness filling his eyes. He clenched both fists.

"But in the end, I'm still a weakling who can't even stand up to my bullies. Why can't my life be filled with constant happiness?"

"Why can't I go against fate and break my limitations? Why am I always shrouded in misery and left in the dark?"

"Why can't I grasp the light that will brighten a path for me to walk on? Why… why?"

Sob… sob…

Tears streamed down his cheeks endlessly. The moon reflected its golden light upon his tears as they fell on the grass.

Unbeknownst to him, a bright blue light flickered in the sky. With every flicker, it appeared to be coming closer.

He raised his head upward and saw the flickering blue light approaching.

"What a really beautiful star with a vibrant, alluring light,"

the teenager said with admiration. But then the flickering stopped, and what he saw was a beam of blue light headed fast toward him, leaving a trail in the sky.

"What's that? Why is the star now a beam of light?" The boy's eyes were full of surprise.

Whoosh.

The beam of blue light was heading straight for him, and he was in its path.

"Why is it heading toward me?" His expression changed to fear as he stood up and stepped back.

Whoosh.

"It's… it's really headed here."

He immediately took multiple steps backward as the incoming light drew closer. It crashed onto the spot where he had stood, while the teenager quickly moved out of the way.

KABOOM!.
