"WOW! Is that the mask of the Silver Dragon of the West? Did you put it on for him?" Gerald asked with fascination.
Noelia turned toward the boy. Normally she would have panicked at talking to him, however wearing her mask, that didn't happen.
When the girl wore the mask she "transformed" into a completely different person. She started acting like the character from her favorite novel, whose nickname she had stolen for herself.
However, the emotion caused by someone knowing that novel made her break character and stop acting.
"Yes! Do you know Chronicles of the Seventh Heaven? It's my favorite novel! The best literary work in the world!" the girl exclaimed with excitement.
Whenever she talked about something she liked, she lost herself in emotion, though it wasn't strange. After all, Noelia wasn't always shy.
That's why if they talked to her about a topic that interested her, she totally lost her fear of socializing.
