Chapter 145 - Chapter 144: Heed My Call, Descend!

Having tasted bitterness, the Storm Great Tempest knew the laser was ineffective against Draco and changed its method of attack.

Storm of Chaotic Scales was released once again.

A curtain of scales that blotted out the sun poured down toward Draco.

"How does this guy only have these two moves to use over and over?"

Draco complained, but his hands were not slow at all.

His palms slammed together, and a majestic spiritual power rose from the top of Draco's head.

"O power from the other side of the starry sky, heed my call and descend!"

"Star Gate, open!"

Accompanied by the chant, endless brilliant starlight burst forth from behind Draco.

That dazzling light condensed into shape, and a massive dimensional gate manifested out of thin air.

Strange stars flickered within the endless void, and an infinite suction force was generated from within the dimensional gate, absorbing all of the Storm Great Tempest's attacks.

The scales that had originally blotted out the sun vanished in an instant.

Draco's magic was far from over. The starlight gushing out from the Star Gate gradually gathered, finally turning into a massive long river.

Where that river flowed was unknown for now, but the terrifying pressure contained within it made one's heart tremble with fear.

This was the Star Magic that Draco had stumbled upon by pure luck!

Empowered by the power of the stars, it formed a River of Stars, sweeping across the world with infinite wonderful uses.

The MP in Draco's body was dropping rapidly. Clearly, performing this Star River Magic required extreme control and magic consumption.

The River of Stars surged forth, instantly dragging the Storm Great Tempest into the river.

However, due to the effect of "Magic Interference," large areas of the river began to collapse into nothingness.

However, Draco didn't care.

He activated all of his terrifying spiritual power, continuously providing magic to maintain the River of Stars.

The Star River within the River of Stars poured back, swallowing the Storm Great Tempest whole. Violent gusts of energy raged out, making Draco's clothes flutter loudly.

But he wasn't trying to kill the Storm Great Tempest; since he said he would capture it, he had to capture it.

The Storm Great Tempest, swallowed by the Star River, only felt a massive force swirling it as it fell into the giant Star Gate.

In the next second, the surrounding scenery changed. By the time it regained its vision, it was already in an unfamiliar space.

"Boom!"

The gate slowly closed, and the massive Star Gate turned into specks of light and disappeared into the horizon.

Clapping his hands, he said, "Done!"

Draco returned to the others and found them all looking dumbfounded.

Even Milim looked at him with some shock. "Draco, what was... that just now?"

"Hmm? Don't you have the 'Dragon Eye' that can see through everything? You don't know?" Draco asked back.

"I... of course I know! Ahaha... I am the Demon Lord Milim who can see through everything, hahaha..."

Milim gave a few awkward laughs, lacking any confidence.

Her eyes could indeed see through everything, but this was the first time in ten thousand years Milim had seen such miraculous magic. She didn't recognize it at all!

Milim tried to think about it for a long time but couldn't come up with anything. However, she quickly threw such questions to the back of her mind.

"Alright, it's over."

Draco said to Rimuru, who was still in a state of shock, "See, I told you this guy was easy to deal with."

Rimuru: "This..."

He really didn't know how to express the feelings in his heart at this moment.

Looking at the calm and collected Draco in front of him, it was as if Rimuru was meeting Draco for the first time.

Rimuru had never thought that his cheap older brother would actually possess such terrifying power.

At the same time, he also felt the gap between himself and Draco for the first time; it was simply an insurmountable chasm.

This caused Rimuru, who originally had a laid-back attitude, to start having thoughts of becoming stronger.

"Let's go, time to head back."

Draco waved his hand and brought everyone back to Nazarick.

With the matter concluded, Rimuru took Souei, Gabiru, and the others back to the Jura Tempest Federation.

In order to catch up to Draco's pace, Rimuru found Hakurou and began to undergo Hell Training Version 2.0.

Meanwhile, Milim and the others followed Draco to the Eighth Floor of the Great Tomb.

Draco himself didn't actually know what the pocket dimension behind the Star Gate looked like.

He needed to let it out as soon as possible; it wouldn't be good if some accident happened.

On the wasteland, Draco chanted the spell again.

"The other side of the starry sky, descend!"

In an instant, the world brightened. Brilliant starlight enveloped the land, like a silver waterfall falling down.

The starlight from across the sky gathered once again into a massive Star Gate.

A moment after the gate opened, the Storm Great Tempest's massive body rushed out, as if there were something like a catastrophic flood chasing it from behind, forcing it to flee for its life.

"Boom!"

The Star Gate closed completely and then dissipated.

"Roar——!!!"

After returning, the Storm Great Tempest thought it had regained its freedom and immediately roared angrily at the sky, as terrifying hurricanes raged around it.

There was only a desire for destruction in its eyes; only destruction could appease its anger.

However, when it turned its head and saw a familiar figure appear, a look of terror immediately appeared on the Storm Great Tempest's face.

"Roar~~!!"

The Storm Great Tempest let out a panicked cry, turned around, and ran.

Although it didn't possess human-like intelligence, it still had the instincts of a beast. It knew it couldn't afford to provoke the man in front of it.

However, it was now on the Eighth Floor of Nazarick.

Where could it possibly run to?

The panicked Storm Great Tempest still prepared to resist a bit. The scales on its body shot out again, smashing toward the group of people on the wasteland.

Draco shook his head helplessly and then gently waved his hand.

Countless scales lost control one after another and fell to the ground.

"Albedo, have someone collect these scales later—they're top-tier forging material, we can't waste them."

"Understood, my lord." Albedo responded reverently.

"Milim, make this thing quiet down."

At the words, Milim perked up; her eyes sparkled with excitement as she stared at the Storm Great Tempest. "Got it, leave it to me!"

The next instant, Milim flashed forward and caught up with the Storm Great Tempest, landing on its broad back and stomping down hard. The beast let out a wail of agony.

"Roooar—!!!"

The shrill scream tore through the sky as the colossal body was driven straight into the earth.

With a dull boom!!

Dust billowed, smoke filling the air.

Boom! Bang! Crash!

Terrifying impacts echoed, one heavy collision after another, leaving onlookers slack-jawed.

When the thick dust finally settled, the titanic form of the Storm Great Tempest re-emerged.

Milim stood atop its head, laughing heartily.

"Wahaha!"

"See the power of this Tyrant?!"

Milim was elated, every inch a child—no, she was a child.

Just playing.
