Chapter 3 — Learning the Rokushiki of the Navy and the Sealing Space

"At such a young age, already possessing strength this monstrous… how terrifying~"

Although his words said terrifying, his expression made him look extremely punchable.

Naruto felt his fighting spirit stirred. He could clearly sense that his own level was still far from enough—he needed to continue learning from Master Kizaru.

That said, Kizaru truly did find Naruto's talent frightening.

In his judgment, Naruto already possessed the strength of a Marine Branch–level commissioned officer.

Even in the pirate world, where monsters were everywhere, someone who could reach this level at the age of four was exceedingly rare.

"In that case… I can teach you the Rokushiki of the Navy now."

Kizaru stroked his chin and spoke slowly.

Although the Rokushiki were powerful combat techniques exclusive to the Navy, some pirates had learned them as well, so Kizaru had no intention of hiding anything.

Besides, Naruto was already his disciple—of course he had to teach him properly.

Upon hearing that Kizaru was going to teach him the Rokushiki, Naruto was naturally overjoyed.

While some of the Rokushiki weren't particularly practical, most of them were extremely useful.

Techniques like Rankyaku, which produced blade-like air slashes; Soru, comparable to the Body Flicker Technique; and even a rare flying technique—one scarcely seen in either the ninja world or the pirate world—

Geppo!

Just how broken flight was—one only had to look at Deidara to know.

If he hadn't gone down a dead end, he absolutely wouldn't have died on the battlefield against Uchiha Sasuke.

Having the ability to fly meant freedom of movement and absolute control of the initiative.

These three techniques were each more practical and powerful than the last.

As for Tekkai, Shigan, and Kami-e, while they weren't as universally applicable, they were still excellent abilities.

Not to mention the hidden skill unlocked after mastering all six—

Life Return.

A powerful technique that could rapidly enhance one's physique.

Without further delay, the teaching began immediately.

Time spent inside the training space was also limited.

If one didn't train and merely sat inside chatting, staying the entire night posed no problem.

But if it was used for actual training, the maximum duration was three hours before being forcibly ejected.

Even so, three hours were more than enough for Naruto to master three of the Rokushiki.

Two and a half hours later, Naruto had already grasped Tekkai, Soru, and Shigan.

Sensing that the training space would soon close, Naruto seized the remaining time to chat with Kizaru.

The remaining three techniques could wait until the next visit.

The conversation flowed easily.

Kizaru carried no airs, while Naruto deeply cherished having someone he could truly talk to.

As they talked, the topic naturally shifted to chakra, something unique to the ninja world.

"Little Naruto, I have a feeling that once you refine chakra, this training space might undergo some changes."

Kizaru spoke lazily.

"And I'm quite curious about this chakra unique to your world~"

It really was just curiosity.

At Kizaru's level, having already reached the absolute peak of the pirate world, he had little obsession left with becoming stronger.

Now that he'd encountered chakra—an energy system entirely different from Haki, and the very foundation of Naruto's world—it naturally piqued his interest.

After all, in the future, he would even allow Vegapunk to research and replicate his Devil Fruit abilities for the Pacifista weapon systems.

When it came to research, Kizaru did have some interest.

Since it was a request from someone who had helped him so much, Naruto naturally wouldn't refuse.

Besides, he had already planned to refine chakra tomorrow. Starting tonight made no real difference.

In truth, Naruto had long planned out his path to strength.

Pirate-world techniques as a supplement; the chakra system as the core.

After all, what truly captivated people about the pirate world was the bizarre and diverse Devil Fruit system.

And Devil Fruits were something Naruto had no way of obtaining.

While it was true that some pirates reached the pinnacle relying solely on their bodies and Haki, the difficulty was simply too high.

By contrast, the chakra system—

Naruto, as the child of destiny, possessed the Nine-Tails as a massive cheat, and his Uzumaki lineage granted him a pseudo–Sage Body.

He had immense potential to reach the Six Paths level.

And in the Naruto world, the Six Paths level, in terms of essence, already completely crushed the strongest beings of the pirate world.

After all, the power of creation—and true immortality—were things pirate-world powerhouses simply could not compare to.

Of course, when it came to mid-tier combat strength, the pirate world still held the advantage.

Before reaching the Six Paths level, chakra-based fighters were essentially high-attack, low-defense assassins or mages.

Unlike pirate-world powerhouses, who were all walking tanks.

Able to endure, able to fight—stamina bars that seemed endless.

Therefore, if the two systems could be combined, Naruto's future achievements would surely surpass those of the original Naruto.

Just imagine—

Six Paths–level essence, combined with the tank-like durability of the pirate world.

Naruto could single-handedly crush the entire ninja world.

Let them all come at him one after another—he wouldn't fear it in the slightest!

At that point, whether it was running over Konoha's F4, destroying Konoha Village, killing Uchiha Obito, or unifying the entire ninja world—

All of it would be possible.

Naruto thought to himself:

Since I'm already here, let's set a small goal—bring true peace to the ninja world.

Immediately afterward, Naruto awakened in the real world and assumed the focused posture required to refine chakra.

This instantly snapped the ANBU monitoring him out of their drowsiness, causing them to observe him carefully.

Entering a state of concentration, just as described in the books, Naruto began refining chakra.

Huuu—

When the first strand of chakra appeared within Naruto's body, he felt indescribably comfortable.

Then his body relaxed, and Naruto fell asleep.

This made the ANBU breathe a sigh of relief.

As expected—even a Nine-Tails jinchūriki was still just a child.

The ANBU assumed Naruto had failed to refine chakra, because aside from sensory-type ninja, most ninja couldn't perceive another person's chakra.

Unless that chakra was released externally and made visible.

But the truth was the complete opposite.

At that very moment, Naruto's chakra was rapidly increasing.

As the chakra grew, Naruto's consciousness did not enter the training space—

Instead, it arrived in a dark, damp space filled with stagnant water.

In the center of the space stood a massive iron gate, covered in sealing tags, surrounded by pooled water.

Naruto stood outside the iron bars.

He looked up beyond the gate, and in the dim light, could vaguely make out the silhouette of a colossal beast—like a mountain.

"Because of chakra… I came to the sealing space?"

Suddenly, the beast opened its eyes.

An incomparably cold, malicious aura surged toward Naruto.

In an instant, memories of past suffering flooded his mind, nearly breaking his mental defenses.

At that moment, a streak of golden light appeared before him, slowly gathering into a tall, familiar back.

It stood in front of Naruto, blocking all of the icy malice.

"Oh, Sooo scary~"
