Chapter 1 - A Mysterious Figure

The sky was a strange grey mixed with a slight tinge of orange.

In the city of sky haven lightning cascaded along the sky as a long and piercing tower stood upward pointing at the sky, as it's peak seemed to tear through the grey and cloudy skies itself. On the ground of sky haven city, countless individuals walked in a rush, hands clutching unto various objects such as their phones hands bags etc, as they hurried off to their place of work.

Meanwhile in a corner of the street, a young man with black hair, eyes and a jacket on his frame stood, mouth puffing out smoke from the cigarette in his hands.

Hah!

He exhaled, as a puff of cloudy smoke flew out from his mouth, as he then proceeded to tap the butt of the cigarette extinguishing the glow. He threw it on the concret floor, falling unto a puddle of water, before facing the bike at his side.

The bike was yellow in colour, with its handles paint sprayed with a orange and red flame tattoo and it's metal skin, littered with skull and knife plasters. He stretched his legs and highlighted the bike, before with a twist of his wrists, revving the engine.

Picking up the helmet from the bike, he deposited it unto his head before closing the googles and speeding off through the alley ways and out of the alley, coming out unto the commercial streets.

The sound of the bike engine was a roar, causing the eyes of some people on the streets to stare at his speeding away figure.

...

The bike pulled up in a warehouse some distance from the alleyway he had once been in before, as his figure came off the bike, boot squelching against the soaked ground. There was no concrete here, rather only just sand and puddles filled with water which littered everywhere making it a very unsuitable place for driving.

Putting his hands in his pocket, the young man proceeded to look upwards at the warehouse which lay before him, it's size a wonder to the eyes. Aluminum littered the roof as countless, windows lay broken in heaps as it's concrete body was scattered with countless obscene drawings and tattoos.

The young man did not pay any heed to it though, as he progressed by walking calmly into the warehouse, hands pushing the door slightly, revealing the empty space inside it. Dust bellowed in the air, thick and heavy as snow as countless pillars stood, keeping the warehouse afloat. Looking at the space inside of it, one was to ask what a figure like him was doing here?

What use?

But only he had an answer to this question as the young man proceeded to speak in a calm and nonchalant tone.

"You can come out now. I know you're here." His voice echoed on the warehouse.

As he said that, a strange gust of wind materialized around the warehouse as a small tornado began to form, spinning rapidly as the wind from it caused the young man's hair to whip rapidly right and left, the same effect happening to his clothes.

Seemingly the tornado size seemed to increase greatlyand rapidly, as dust from the warehouse spinned more and more swiftly becoming twice as thick as the pillars in the warehouse before all of a sudden it all came to a stop.

All of a sudden, all the sand grains which were in the sky dropped to the ground, raining down like popcorn as a figure slowly began to materialize.

The figure was dressed in pureblack. Black hair, black mask, black robes as well as a black glove and a sword which was also the colour black strapped tight to his hips. The figure stood hunched slightly, hands holding unto a black walking stick which he used to stay standing, as he said nothing.

Meanwhile the young man let out a small chuckle.

He then advanced by removing his hands from his pocket and slowly began walking towards the figure. His feet tapped gently on the ground as he took ample steps towards this mysterious figure who had suddenly appeared in a supernatural way.

Now just a few metres away from this mysterious figure, the young man stopped and thrust his hands back into his pocket once again, before bringing out from it a small brown envelope, embroidered with a bloodied thumbprint. The young man stretched out his right hand which held the envelope at the masked figure, offering to hand it up to him.

The figure, raised his head slightly upward, the features on his face unseeable. Then he proceeded to let out a small soft grunt, before stretching out his left hand towards the envelope and taking it out of the young man's grip.

Tee-heee!

The young man let out a soft chuckle, his grin wide as he released the envelope from his grip, as he turned his back to the man and walked away hands tucked inside his jacket pocket, leaving the masked figure to be alone there.

His figure soon disappeared out of the warehouse as the sound of an engine revving up broke the silence, before with a sound of a bike speeding up, left the area.

The mysterious masked figure still remained, hands still gripped on the envelope as though it held some ancient secrets of how the universe had once been created, before with a sudden twist of the air, dust began to twist and twirl no sooner than a few moments later, a tornado appearing once again but this time 4 times larger than the previous as the figure began to dissappear, until all the dust in the air began raining down unto the ground just as It had once did.
