Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

"Hahahahahahaha—!"

After finishing his sentence, Uchiha Madara burst into wild, unrestrained laughter. The sound echoed through the empty space, carrying a sharp edge of arrogance and amusement.

Ito Akira looked at him helplessly and replied in a perfectly calm tone.

"I know."

"…Huh—gh."

Madara's laughter cut off abruptly, as if someone had grabbed him by the throat.

For no clear reason, a trace of embarrassment surfaced on his face. The brat already knew everything about his plans—so of course it wasn't strange that he also knew about his desire to unify the ninja world.

For a brief moment, the two of them fell into silence.

Akira wasn't in a hurry.

He knew very well that as long as he released the summoning technique, Madara would be drawn back into the summoning space rather than remaining in the world of the dead.

He had already confirmed this with the system.

That space functioned much like Uzumaki Naruto's sealed space—a self-contained domain under Akira's control. Everything inside it was governed by his authority. The undead souls he summoned could reside there freely.

Naturally, they could also exist in the outside world as summoned beings.

But once the summoning technique was lifted, they wouldn't return to the world of the dead. Instead, they would be sent directly back into Akira's summoning space.

Akira wasn't rushed.

But Madara, standing opposite him, was thinking about many things.

First—he knew nothing about this boy named Ito Akira.

Where did this brat come from? Why did he know so much about his plans?

Second—this method of summoning the dead was completely unheard of. An absurd, unreasonable technique that defied everything Madara knew about ninjutsu theory.

And yet… it worked.

Madara had absolute confidence in his own strength.

The body he possessed now was his true peak—young, powerful, and unburdened by age. More importantly, he still had the Rinnegan.

The legendary eyes of the Sage of Six Paths.

It was precisely because of those eyes that he had prepared to initiate the Eye of the Moon Plan and cast Infinite Tsukuyomi upon the entire ninja world.

And yet—

Even with such terrifying power, he couldn't do anything to this boy.

Even when the intent to act flashed through his mind, he couldn't activate the Rinnegan at all.

Madara hated this feeling—the feeling of something being completely out of his control.

But whether he liked it or not, he had to admit it.

He really had become a so-called… summoned being.

While Madara was lost in thought, Akira suddenly received a series of system notifications.

[Congratulations to the host for successfully summoning an undead.][Summoned Entity Acquired: Uchiha Madara.][Initiating random ability extraction…]

[Ability acquired: Indra's Reincarnation Chakra.][Indra Chakra has been successfully integrated into the host's body.]

Akira froze.

He knew the system rule—every successful undead summoning granted him a random ability from the summoned individual.

Originally, he had been looking forward to something obvious.

The Mangekyō Sharingan. The Rinnegan.Even a fragment of Madara's combat instincts or high-level ninjutsu would have been amazing.

After all, Madara's battlefield awareness was legendary—he could dance through tens of thousands of shinobi without breaking a sweat.

But instead…

Indra's chakra?

Wait.

Wouldn't that make him the son of the Sage of Six Paths?

And another thing—

If the chakra was extracted, did Madara still have Indra's chakra in his body?

That didn't seem right.

The reincarnations of Indra and Asura were supposed to continue through rebirth. Otherwise, Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke wouldn't exist.

So how could Indra's chakra still be drawn from Madara?

"System," Akira asked quickly, "explain this to me. Madara is already dead—why does Indra's chakra still exist in him?"

"And if I extracted it… does Madara still have it?"

[Indra and Asura's reincarnation chakra does not dissipate with the death of the host body.]

[In the world of the dead, Indra and Asura exist in a soul-state.][Unlike ordinary reincarnation, their chakra does not vanish.]

[Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama still exist.][Likewise, Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke exist.]

[Therefore, Madara and Hashirama remain valid chakra reincarnations.]

"I see," Akira said. "Then what about my second question?"

[Abilities extracted by the system are copied, not removed.][Uchiha Madara remains Indra's reincarnation.][The host has obtained an additional instance of Indra's chakra.]

"So it's a copy," Akira muttered.

"But honestly… it doesn't seem very useful right now. It doesn't boost my combat power immediately. You could've just given me a Rinnegan."

[Reminder to host:][Indra's chakra is the origin of the Uchiha bloodline.][The Sharingan evolved from Indra's chakra and became a hereditary trait.]

[Host status: Bloodline reversion equivalent to the Uchiha clan.]

Akira's mouth went dry.

If that was true…

Then his starting point was now the same as Indra and Uchiha Madara.

Which meant—

He now had the potential to reach the same heights they once did.

The implications made his heart race.

Did that mean he could awaken the Sharingan?

The Mangekyō?

Even the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan?

In other words—

He was effectively an Uchiha now.

And not just any Uchiha—but one with the purest possible origin.

Madara, who had been silently observing Akira, suddenly frowned.

Something felt… off.

The boy's presence had changed.

It was subtle, but unmistakable.

The sensation was strangely familiar—like a younger brother separated by time.

Even stranger than the feeling Senju Hashirama gave him.

"…What is this?" Madara thought.

Why had this brat changed all of a sudden?

Madara's confusion deepened.

This boy was filled with secrets.

And perhaps—

If he watched him closely enough, he might finally uncover them.
