The Rise of Felberta's Business
It had been several weeks since Victor left New Fantom.
In that short time, the city had changed considerably.
The streets were busier than ever. From early morning until late at night, wagons rolled through the main roads, their heavy wheels rattling against the stone pavement. Merchants unloaded crates, barrels, weapons, bolts of cloth, sacks of grain, and all kinds of goods. The air was filled with the sounds of bargaining, shouting, and workers hauling merchandise from one place to another.
New Fantom had always been a place where people came to make money. But lately, business had been booming.
And at the heart of it all stood Felberta's shop.
Calling it a shop hardly seemed appropriate anymore.
