Synopsis
The world is governed by a system. Every person has a role. Every moment follows a script. Everything that deviates is corrected. Everything—except Aaron Vale. When a café cashier remembers a conversation that never officially happened and a stray cat speaks a line it was never programmed to say, the Continuity Engine flags a problem it cannot solve. Aaron has no class. No level. No assigned narrative weight. He isn’t powerful in the way heroes are meant to be. He doesn’t challenge the system head-on or bend reality through force. Instead, he watches. He notices the pauses between dialogue, the repeated days, the way the world hesitates around him. And wherever Aaron goes, NPCs begin to wake up. As memories bleed through resets and the system escalates from quiet corrections to outright erasure, Aaron becomes the center of a growing fracture—one populated by awakened NPCs, a few dangerous allies, and a system that is beginning to lose control. Freedom, however, comes at a cost. Because the system does not fear rebellion. It fears existence without permission. The system demands compliance. Aaron Vale refuses classification.
