Chapter 2 - Training, I guess

5 days until gojo arrives

One thing I've noticed that didn't really matter to Jonathan, was that he was aware of his own soul.

To explain this, you must first ask what comes first. the body? Or the soul?

Kenjaku explained that in his eyes both the body and the soul come first. Mahito states that the soul comes first, which in turn leads them to think that techniques shape how one view the soul.

What this technique does is create bodies out of some mud type substance, but after that they are fully human, blood and all.

They have my exact reserves, my same technique, my same soul

I'm creating new life every time I use this technique, but not just any life. My life, which let's me be aware of my own soul. Mahito can't transfigure me as easily now, because although nanami did it by instinct it shows one can guard the soul with cursed energy.

One major threat out of the way, don't get me wrong he could still kill me. The main point is that I can actually defend myself a bit better now, which leads me to my next bit of trail and error.

Can the clones retain knowledge, and can the give back that knowledge to me? Theoretically it should be possible, They have a brain that functions, all that needs to be done is pump cursed energy into the brain and presto

I mean they are me and I am them, so I create 4 clones which give me a total of me's. It's so amazing using cursed energy, it's like drinking alcohol. It has a bitter taste but it also has a sweet and warm feeling, Yuki was bugging with getting rid of this.

Anyways back to the clones. I send cursed energy to the brain and like that we have light, they start waking up and look around. Since they are me they already know what I want them to do, so they each go their own separate ways and try to keep knowledge.

~45 Minutes later~

It took quite a bit of trail and error I'll admit. At first it was like getting random noise in my head. Like a radio without an antenna, which had me stumped for a bit.

How does one find the right frequency in themselves. At first I thought it was distance, that wasn't the case. Standing right next to my clones I could only hear static, which means it's another issue.

Humans have a bunch of frequencies in them depending on the organ and such, but we all do, so how to do it, how to do it?

It sucks but I know of a way to fix this I guess, I reach for the bag in my pocket and put it on.

"As long as I wear this bag over my head, I can see, hear, and recieve information through my clones." I said out loud.

A binding vow is probably the only way I could do it, and after those words left my mouth I felt the mask on my head get heavier and suddenly the static turned into words.

'Man the original is lazy'

'Why is the original so dumb?'

'Man I wanna make some money'

'You think yuki or uruame are into face masks?'

Ok that last one was not needed, but it worked, just goes to show that binding vows are awesome. Sukuna definitely had the right idea, now I wonder what more I could alter with binding vows.

Ok so what way could I get rct?

The way gojo explained it was that you multiply negative cursed energy against each other to make positive energy, but that doesn't help much.

Shokos way is even worse what does "fwoo and hyoo" even mean? She's definitely gatekeeping, doesn't want to lose her job I guess.

Man if only there was a way to get rct in an easy way...could a binding vow work?

"I give up all ways of cursed energy for 5 days to increase my potential in revered cursed technique."

Nothing, I guess my part was to low for it to consider it equal exchange? Anyways can't cheat my way through this one, so might aswell get some combat experience.

Curses in the wild are fickle things, one minute you could be dealing with a grade 2 curse and outa nowhere they level up into special grade, or it's a trap because some no-life wants to kill people for whatever reason.

Shouldn't be to hard, just gotta keep one clone here so I can switch incase I get wrecked. Now where to find one? That ominous building should do. Before I head over I make a clone here outside, just in case. This leaves me with three so a total of four are gonna fight this thing.

Walking up to it, I immediately notice the heaviness in the area. There's definitely a curse here, but which floor? Walking inside I make my way through the cubicles and making my way upstairs, I finally find my target...

The curse huched staring at a computer, bodies littered around. Even though it's hunched it is standing at an astonishing 7'0 even, it has gray skin with sunken cheeks and hollowed eyes. It doesn't have any lips so it's teeth are showing with bones for it's tie.

Suddenly out of nowhere a punch card appears on my chest and the curses attention landed on me, it got up slowly and suddenly lunged at me. "A job curse?" I can't help but wonder out loud. I dodge out of the way, it's claws barely grazing me.

If it works like I think it works it needs me to punch in for it's technique works? Probably why it's aiming for my chest. Suddenly staplers appear all around it and launch staples as fast as bullets.

"Shit!" I exclaimed. I was wrong, it can use it's technique, the staples catch me off guard and it goes for another lunge, this time it reaches to grab my head.

Summoning three clones, I have one successfully go behind it and have it locked in a full nelson, then the two other clones go in and start thowing hay makers, left hook, right uppercut, left liver shot, right hook.

All it cand do is just wail as the onslaught does not stop, I rush in to also beat it senseless synergy is not an issue because I know what the clones will throw, they think before they act.

'Right body blow'

Respond with a head downslam

'Left kick to the chin'

Two body jabs

'Stomp it's knee in'

Left uppercut

The curse couldn't do anything, it could only scream as the combo would not finish, man, jumping is so fun. But alas, all good things must come to an and. Throwing a left hook to the jaw the curse is sent flying to the left. It crashes into a wall and is slumped for a sec or two.

The job curse got back up and screeched.

"Fweeeeee." It was pathetic and ugly. The sheer anger in it's scream is heard clear.

It's speed suddenly increased out of nowhere and it grabbed me faster than I could doge. It grabbed the punch card out of my chest and punched me in. Suddenly I hear the most dreadful words.

"Domain expansion: soulless servitude"
