There was a boy named Isan. He loved a girl named Nusrat very much, but Nusrat did not love him back.
Isan tried many times to win her heart, but she ignored him. This made Isan very sad. One day, he thought to himself,
"If I stay here, I will only suffer. It is better to leave."
Before leaving, Isan wrote a letter for Nusrat. The letter said:
"I am leaving and I will not come back. I loved you truly. My life was simple, but my love was pure. We will never meet again."
After reading the letter, Nusrat cried. For the first time, she realized Isan's value. She searched for him everywhere. When she finally found him, she said,
"Isan, I love you."
Isan was very happy. They stayed together, and two years passed peacefully.
One day, Nusrat suddenly disappeared.
Isan became worried and went to her house, but no one was there. Later, one of Nusrat's friends told him her new address. Isan went there and saw Nusrat walking hand in hand with another man.
"Nusrat, who is he?" Isan asked.
She replied, "He is my boyfriend."
"Don't you love me anymore?" Isan asked.
Nusrat said, "I loved you before, but you are poor, and he is rich. I want a rich life."
The rich man said, "Let her go."
Isan replied, "Give me 20 lakh taka, and I will let her go."
The money was given. Isan looked at Nusrat and said,
"One day, you will understand."
Five years later, fate brought them together again.
Isan was now a successful businessman. Nusrat stopped his expensive car and asked,
"How did you become so rich?"
Isan replied calmly, "I invested the money wisely and worked hard."
Then Isan asked, "Are you happy?"
Nusrat lowered her head and said,
"No. My husband beats me. Money gave me a big house, but not peace."
Isan said softly,
"Money can buy a house, but it cannot buy a loving home."
They walked away in different directions, carrying regret and life lessons in their hearts.
