Yuri's pov
["He is awake "]the person at the other end said, as he hang up. I dropped my phone as soon as i heard it. But who called me? How did he know keifer is awake? I called back several times, but he didn't pick up.
Suddenly Angelo came out from his room, holding his phone.
"What are you doing here?"he asked as soon as he saw me.
"I was just checking on Jay. Where are you going?"i asked because maybe he could give me a ride to the hospital on the way he is going .so i can explain everything to keifer.
"To the hospital. Keifer is awake"he said calmly.
"How did you know that he is awake?"i asked him out of curiosity.
"Well... I got a call from someone saying he is awake "he explained.
"I got the exact same call"i said to him.
"Kuya we need to go to the hospital!keifer is–awake."jay walked out holding her phone.
"How did you that?"i asked
"I got a call. Why?"she said.
"Who called you? Was it from the hospital?"i asked her.
"No, it was a call from an unknown number. Is there a problem?"she said
"It's just we both got the same call too"angelo said.
"Does that really matter? We have to get to the hospital. Now!"jay said to Angelo. I was about to go with them."um.. Yuri.. I think.. It's better for you to stay here and visit him later. You know.."angelo said "it's okay. I understand "i said even though i need to explain everything to him. He nodded and went with Jay.
Jay-Jay's pov
I don't care about the phone call. All i care about is keifer, who was hurt because of me. Why am i like this i bring problems everywhere i go. Everyone is getting hurt because of me. Even my loved ones.
I took the key with me because i don't know what's gonna happen if i keep this with me. Iam gonna give this to keifer and explain everything to him.
The ride didn't take long because kuya was driving like he just got out from the fast and furious movie.
We ran inside the hospital like someone was about to give birth. We found his room and opened the door. Keifer was lying on the bed. Keigan sat next to him, tears flowing down his cheeks. I dont know why he was crying. Keiren sleeping on the other bed which was in the room.
"Keifer.."i said. As soon as keigan saw us he wiped his tears from his face.
"Iam just going outside"he said and turned to keifer "im sorry"he said and got out of the room. I have a bad feeling about him. Like something's gonna happen to him.
Keifer woke up."jay.."he called out. Suddenly kuya's phone rang."WHAT!" OH, IM COMING!"He hung up the call. "Sorry something came up. I gotta go. I'll come get you."he said as he went outside. More like ran outside.
I sat next to keifer
"Keifer, how do feel now? Does it still hurts? Iam so sorry!all of this happened just because of m-"
"Jay, don't blame yourself "he cut me off"i came because yuri told me to come if i want you alive! I mean who doesn't care about the girl they love"he said looking straight at my eye.
I couldn't keep the eye contact. Because you know, like this is rrally hard! His eyes which sparkled like diamonds. Looking at those is making me feel something in my stomach. Is this what they call butterflies in stomach when they're all giddy and giggly about falling in love? Nahh.. I don't think its butterflies. I think its the lasagna i ate earlier acting up now. That's all.
"Jay"he called out to me"what are thinking?"he asked me.
"Uhh.. Remember when you told me that you'd pay millions to know what's on my mind?" "mhm-hm" "so, load my phone and I'll let you know what's on my mind"i said. Iam such a genius."tss.."he said and started laughing while shaking his head."what?" I asked. "Nothing,it's just you're funny."he said. What? You thought that was a joke? Guess what. It wasn't."see, this is why i don't like you. You always laugh and teases me. That's why you're an asshole"i said."iam a what?"he asked "An asshole!"i said again. Then he started grinning like a fool.
Bruhh, you think that's pretty. Guess what its ugly. But why is he grinning like this?
"Profanity.."he said
FVCK!i forgot abot that. You're such a fool jay. What should i do? I mean he is not well so maybe he will let it go?.
Then he suddenly grabbed the chair i was sitting and pulled me closer to him. Then bit his lip. Is it really gonna happen? Oh my god!my breath stinks! I can't do it.
It's true i missed his kiss. But, why now of all the time? He came closer and closer. I tried turning my face away. But, he grabbed my chin to face him."scared?"he asked me. Iam scared because you could die if you caught a glimpse of my breath.
It's okay Jay. Why are you scared? Nothing gonna happen. It's just one kiss. Right? Nothing's gonna happen if we both kiss. You've done it multiple times. I took a deep breath. Finally bringing my face closer to his. We were inches away from kissing.
"Eww! Kuya what are you doing? Why are you kissing this girl!?"
