Chapter 1 — The Notification at 3:33
I woke up because my phone vibrated.
Not a normal vibration.
It felt… heavy.
Like something was pressing against the screen from the other side.
The time glowed in the darkness.
3:33 AM
I blinked.
A notification appeared.
"Room 333 is ready for you."
My throat went dry.
I hadn't installed any app like that.
My fingers trembled as I unlocked the phone.
The notification opened by itself.
A black screen.
Then a single line of text:
DO NOT TURN AROUND.
My breath stopped.
Because…
I wasn't alone in my room.
I could feel it.
Something was standing behind me.
The air turned cold.
The silence became louder than any scream.
Slowly…
my mirror began to fog up.
And on the glass, a message appeared.
Written by a finger I couldn't see.
"You opened the door again."
I whispered.
"What… door?"
My closet creaked.
I stared at it.
That closet had been sealed for years.
I never used it.
I never opened it.
But now…
A thin line of darkness leaked from its edges.
And from inside…
A voice spoke.
Soft.
Broken.
Wrong.
"Come back inside… Sudipta."
I stepped back.
My heart slammed against my ribs.
How did it know my name?
The closet door slowly opened…
And inside was not clothes.
Not shelves.
Not emptiness.
It was a hallway.
A hallway that shouldn't exist.
And at the end of it…
A room.
With a number carved in red:
333
My phone vibrated again.
Another message:
"Enter before 3:34… or the room will enter you."
I didn't move.
But the hallway did.
It started coming closer.
Like the room was crawling into my world.
And the clock changed.
3:34 AM
The door slammed shut.
Behind me.
