Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Regression - I Returned as the Most Useless F-Class (But SSS-Rank Remnants Remain)

"Krraaaagh!"

There was no scream. Only silence, like the loneliness of a billion years.

A sword that seemed to pierce the heart of the universe was embedded in my solar plexus. A disgusting purple energy flowed along the blade.

Kim Hajun, SSS-Rank Hunter. The last Hunter.

I struggled until the very end, cutting down one of the apostles of the 'Outer God,' but in the end, I too was finished.

[Great Achievement: Defeated 'Nyarlathotep's Third Apostle, Outer God']

[Reward: 'Time Regression' Activated]

In the pain of my body being broken down to the molecular level, only my mind remained clear. Reward? Regression? Bullshit. What I wanted was rest.

[System: 'Regression' has been activated according to the subject's desire. Returning to the subject's body 5 years ago on the timeline.]

[Warning: All traits and skill proficiencies acquired by 'SSS-Rank Hunter Kim Hajun' will be synchronized with the body of 'F-Class Hunter Kim Hajun' existing in the current timeline.]

Kwaaaaang!

My vision exploded, then settled calmly under the pale sunlight.

Kwaaaaang!

My vision exploded, then settled calmly under the pale sunlight.

The air touching my cheeks was the disgustingly peaceful Seoul air from 5 years ago, full of fine dust.

I was alive. But I couldn't be happy.

*Damn it. Why now, of all times.*

When I opened my eyes, the first thing I felt wasn't my heart, but my empty mana core. The body of an F-Class.

I had SSS-Rank proficiency, but no vessel to contain it.

And the second thing I felt was a reality heavier than my body.

I let out a hollow laugh.

F-Class. The lowest rank among Hunters. A rank where you can't even hunt a goblin properly.

But my mind clearly remembered it. The sensation of cutting down an S-Rank Demon Lord with a single stroke. The weight of the SSS-Rank Divine Sword 'Eternal Severance.' The trajectories of hundreds of ultimate skills.

All of it was in my head, but my body couldn't execute even 1% of it.

"Hey, loser! You're late again!"

A familiar voice. I turned my head.

A muscular man with a buzz cut was glaring at me. Instructor Kang Minho. In my previous life, he was the first to die when the Academy was attacked.

"You think the Academy is a joke? If you're going to slack off, just drop out!"

"...I'm sorry."

I bowed my head reflexively. This was the 'Kim Hajun' of this era. A pathetic F-Class who was always apologizing.

But I knew. In three months, this instructor would die protecting students from a sudden dungeon break. He was a good person.

"Tch. Get in formation. Today's the entrance ceremony."

Entrance ceremony.

Right. Today was the day I entered Eternity Academy.

The academy where humanity's strongest Hunters were trained. And the place where the seeds of future destruction were sown.

I looked around. Hundreds of new students were gathered in the grand auditorium. Most were B-Class or higher. A-Class students were already forming cliques, looking down on everyone else.

And there, I saw her.

Lee Sora.

The woman who would later be called the 'Ice Witch,' one of the Five Great Hunters. Currently an A-Class student and teaching assistant.

Her cold blue eyes scanned the crowd. For a moment, our eyes met.

A chill ran down my spine.

*She's already this strong.*

In my previous life, I only met her when she was already SSS-Rank. But even now, as an A-Class, her presence was overwhelming.

"Attention, all students!"

The headmaster's voice echoed through the hall.

"Welcome to Eternity Academy. Here, you will be forged into humanity's shield against the monsters that threaten our world. But remember—only the strong survive. The weak will be culled."

Murmurs spread through the crowd. The Academy's infamous 'survival of the fittest' policy.

I clenched my fists.

*I know what's coming. The first dungeon practicum. The betrayal. The deaths.*

But I couldn't change everything at once. Not with this F-Class body.

I needed to be smart. Strategic.

And most importantly, I needed to hide my true power.

"Now, all students will be assigned to their dormitories based on rank. F-Class students, follow Instructor Kang."

I followed the small group of F-Class students. There were only five of us. The Academy's rejects.

As we walked, I felt eyes on me. Mocking. Pitying. Contemptuous.

Let them look.

They didn't know that the 'weakest' student among them had already saved the world once.

And would do it again.

But this time, I'd do it right.

[System Notice]

**Hidden Quest Activated**: [Prevent the Academy Massacre]

**Objective**: Stop the dungeon break during the first practicum (28 days remaining)

---

I smiled bitterly.

Twenty-eight days.

In my previous life, I didn't even know this quest existed. I was too weak, too ignorant.

But now?

Now I had knowledge. Experience. And the skills of an SSS-Rank Hunter locked inside an F-Class body.

The game had changed.

And this time, I was playing to win.

*Let's begin.*
