Tsukasa moved his stiff body a little.
He turned to the two Judgment girls and asked a question.
"By the way, do you know where the mall is? It's a bit of a problem to run around in hospital clothes."
"So you know you look strange~" Kuroko Shirai said. She rolled her eyes and scoffed at him.
"Um, we were just about to go to Seventh Mist for patrol. We can take you there," Uiharu Kazari said with a smile.
"I see. Thank you," Tsukasa said.
He nodded and looked at Kuroko Shirai with a strange look in his eyes.
"Hey! What is that look!?" Kuroko asked.
She saw his gaze and felt a vein pop on her forehead. She glared at him.
"I'll count on you then, little girl," Tsukasa said.
He ignored Kuroko's anger and spoke to Uiharu.
"I am Uiharu Kazari. This is Kuroko Shirai. You can call me Uiharu, sir," Uiharu said.
She held back the angry Kuroko and introduced herself with a weak smile.
"Tsukasa," he said simply.
At Seventh Mist.
Kuroko Shirai watched Tsukasa walk away. She pouted.
"Hmph. A guy with such a bad personality... we shouldn't even care about him."
"You shouldn't say that, Kuroko. Helping people is one of our duties as Judgment," Uiharu said.
She tried to calm her friend down.
"Fine, let's not talk about him. Let's split up for patrol. Also, if anything happens, report it to me right away. Do not act alone. Understand!?"
Kuroko moved her face very close to Uiharu's.
Uiharu felt the pressure and nodded her small head quickly. She promised not to act on her own. The two then split up to start their patrol.
Half an hour later, Tsukasa had changed into casual clothes. He began to walk around the large mall.
It had only been one day since he arrived in this world.
The system didn't give him any clear missions. When he asked, the system just said: [Please explore on your own. The system will not limit the User.]
"Is the freedom of this system a bit too high?" Tsukasa thought.
Luckily, the system provided money for free.
This meant Tsukasa could become the richest person in the world if he wanted to.
He felt a bit embarrassed thinking about it.
If he had checked the system earlier, he wouldn't have had to rob those thugs. He felt sorry for them now.
He chose a dessert shop and sat by the window.
The waitress looked shocked because Tsukasa ordered almost everything on the menu.
He had suddenly become a rich guy who didn't have to worry about money. He was acting like a total nouveau riche.
"You think money is everything? Sorry, money really is everything," he thought.
A classic line from a movie came to his mind. Tsukasa leaned back on the sofa like he was melting into it.
"That guy looks like a total rich guy," a girl said at a table across from him.
Four girls were sitting there.
One was a small high school girl with curly blonde hair, blue eyes, and white skin. She was thin and pointed at Tsukasa.
"Why do you care about him?" another girl asked.
She looked about twelve years old and had brown, shoulder-length hair. She looked very polite. She wore an orange hoodie and hot pants, showing off her long, white legs.
"Whatever," a girl with black hair said.
She had a large chest and wore a pink tracksuit. She looked like she didn't have any energy, as if she hadn't slept enough. She didn't seem to care about anything.
"Hmph. Frenda, if you have time to care about that, give me your report," a tall girl said.
She had smooth, long brown hair. She slammed her coffee cup down and shouted at Frenda.
"Wait! I really wrote it! I just don't know where I put it. Give me a few more days, I will definitely turn it in," Frenda said.
She panicked after the brown-haired girl yelled at her.
The noise from their table caught Tsukasa's attention. He looked over and saw the four girls.
"ITEM, huh? Even the dark side groups meet at dessert shops," Tsukasa said to himself.
"..."
Was this lazy-looking guy also part of the Dark Side?
"Don't mind me. Keep talking," Tsukasa said.
He waved his hand and told them to ignore him.
"Hey, old man. Which Dark Side group are you from?" Kinuhata Saiai asked.
She had suddenly come over and sat down in front of him.
"'Old man' again? Well, if a primary schooler says it, I can accept it," Tsukasa said.
He rubbed his chin and sighed.
"Primary schooler? I am a middle schooler!" Kinuhata Saiai said angrily.
"Ah, right, right. Middle schooler. Why are there so many kids in the Dark Side? This city is dark." Tsukasa said.
"What? What are you saying? That's super confusing," Kinuhata Saiai said.
She hit the table with her fist.
"Well, I am not part of the Dark Side. If I have to say, I am a terrorist. I just attacked the Chairman's building in District 7 last night," Tsukasa said.
He took the coffee from the waitress and took a small sip before answering.
"..."
There was a long silence.
Kinuhata Saiai and Frenda looked at each other and then laughed out loud.
"Hahaha! That's super funny! You actually say you are a terrorist. Old man, you are super interesting," Kinuhata Saiai said while laughing.
"Hahaha! Is he an idiot?" Frenda said.
She couldn't stop laughing either.
The other two girls just looked at them.
Tsukasa ignored the two laughing girls.
He started eating his dessert.
Getting some sugar made him feel good.
He decided to stop paying attention to the ITEM group.
"Hey, don't ignore me, old man. I'm warning you, don't go around talking about us being part of the Dark Side. Or else Mugino will kill you," Kinuhata Saiai said.
She was annoyed that he ignored her, but she still gave him a warning.
Tsukasa suddenly raised his hand and waved at someone outside the window.
This made Kinuhata Saiai even angrier.
She gave him a kind warning, and he just ignored her.
She looked out the window and saw a girl with a flower headband.
The girl had a Judgment badge on her arm.
Kinuhata Saiai glared at Tsukasa and then went back to her friends.
