Mariana stared at him while he unboxed the jade box.

Adonis put the heart back inside the box, then into his bag and slung it over his shoulder.
"Chaos affinity… It cannot be just a simple coincidence," he murmured. "It feels as though it was destined to fall into my hand."

He looked into the sky as though seeking answers.
