Chapter 2 - Chapter Two: Kyoto Metropolitan Curse Technical College

Chapter Two: Kyoto Metropolitan Curse Technical College

After two train rides followed by several transfers on various forms of public transportation, Obito finally managed to reach the address.

As for how he obtained it, having never been to this place before, Obito's memories had helped him get there, in addition to the address he received from Naoya Zenin.

"Alright then, it's time to enter."

After taking his first step towards entering the academy, he noticed, for a single moment, a strange feeling entering him.

It was as if he had been dominated in an instant, or made naked in a moment.

What is this feeling? Is it a barrier, or some strange ability?

Obito couldn't determine what this feeling was, but in the end, after entering for about one second, this feeling disappeared.

Of course, there was no information in Obito's head—information he had obtained from Zenin Obito's memories—about this subject.

In the end, he sighed and entered inside.

From one minute to the next, he was looking at the gigantic building that looked different from when he had viewed it from outside.

Of course, that difference was due to the barrier that prevents non-sorcerers, as well as unauthorized jujutsu users, from entering the interior of Kyoto Jujutsu High.

"Who is that girl?"

A little distance from Obito, he didn't notice their presence until after he approached a bit.

Three people.

A blonde girl, plus a girl with short hair but a perfect, possible figure, and finally a young man who seemed to possess a muscular body.

The most prominent thing about him was that there was a huge smile, as if he was ready to receive his prize.

At the same time, he was holding a picture and smiling.

Obito noticed it right when that young man was smiling; it seemed as if he was saying something.

The words that the young man was saying resembled a word Obito couldn't recognize.

"Who is that person over there?"

In a moment, Toudou's smile stopped.

But not for less than a fraction of a second, to look in the direction where he felt someone was peeking at him.

On the other hand, the girls noticed Toudou's strange behavior and looked in the direction he was staring.

It was unusual for Toudou to look at something other than the picture of the girl he admired.

"A boy? What is he doing here?"

Uttered Mai, in a loud voice, but her heart was pounding.

Obito's image was still in her mind—that person who used to insult her and her sister Maki whenever they met him.

They recognized me.

This surprise didn't fail to make Obito curse internally, but he didn't dare say anything.

He acted as if he hadn't seen them and wanted to walk away.

But in one moment, as if space itself had warped—and that's just a metaphorical expression, not literal—Aoi Toudou appeared directly in front of Obito Zenin.

"What's your type of woman?"

Obito's mind stopped working for a moment.

Not because he was surprised by this question—he knew this question was coming the moment he recognized the face.

But the thing that froze his mind was the speed at which Toudou moved.

It wasn't a small, natural speed.

There was a distance of 50 meters separating them, yet he reached my side in an instant.

Is this the power of a Shaman in Jujutsu?

And while he was thinking about that, he didn't forget to answer, looking directly into Toudou's eyes.

"I like girls who have large breasts and full hips, and I especially like girls who resemble—"

There was no moment.

Obito's body was in the air.

The latter's eyes were wide open.

Toudou had grabbed Obito from behind in a savage motion, lifting Obito's body directly about one meter into the air before Toudou's body spun directly downward while holding Obito's body from behind.

Everything was moving so fast that he didn't notice that at this moment, the cursed energy in his body was moving rapidly toward his brain.

For Obito, everything was moving in extreme slow motion.

Of course, he only realized his eyes at this moment had turned red, and shapes resembling tomoe appeared in both eyes.

In addition, even with the appearance and transformation of his eyes into the Mangekyou Sharingan directly, his condition and Obito's physical strength weren't capable of matching Aoi Toudou's power.

With a BOOM sound, his body had fallen to the ground and lost consciousness.

"Is that all? What a boring person."

There were no negative feelings in Toudou's heart—usually, when he carries out this punishment, but he felt the other person was pretending.

He had said the same type that Toudou liked, but in some way, using his intelligence, he was able to figure out that the man in front of him was lying directly, as if he knew the answer to the question and just mentioned it.

That matter made Aoi Toudou attack without hesitation.

---

Several hours later.

In the Kyoto Jujutsu High infirmary, Obito woke from his sleep.

His head was dizzy; he felt as if he had been hit on the head with an iron bat.

So much so that at this moment, he couldn't tell where he was waking up.

He felt, in some way, that he had been in this situation at some time, but in the end, he stopped thinking about the subject.

Where am I, and what is this place?

The door, which was specific to the nursing room, opened.

A woman dressed in Japanese-style nun clothing entered.

She had a large scar running straight down the middle of her forehead.

And directly behind her, there was an old man.

The two entered, one after the other.

After that, the old man asked, "I suppose your condition is good?"

He didn't say another word.

And this matter surprised and didn't surprise Obito, really.

The surprise was because he recognized the two people.

The first who entered was Utahime Iori.

In addition, the person who entered second was the one the anime community had nicknamed the "Rockstar of the Jujutsu World": the principal of Kyoto Jujutsu High, Yoshinobu Gakuganji.

Both of these are very important characters at Kyoto Jujutsu High.

As for why Obito wasn't surprised, he was expecting someone to come to this room in the end, but he didn't expect the people entering this room to be two of such caliber—first-grade jujutsu sorcerers.

"It seems you've already recognized us. Therefore, I'll inform you that you've been accepted as one of the regular students at Kyoto Metropolitan Curse Technical College."

I didn't move.

I looked at them as if I were looking at lunatics.

Why did Kyoto Jujutsu High agree to admit a Zenin member suddenly in the middle of the year? Shouldn't they wait until next year? In addition, I'm sure I didn't fill out an enrollment form or an application to join Kyoto Jujutsu High, right?

In truth, Obito simply didn't know that the Zenin Clan, under orders from the higher-ups, requested one of its members—a jujutsu user—to join Kyoto Jujutsu High.

Of course, the Zenin Clan didn't agree, but in the end, they sent one of the useless members, and while they were choosing, Obito's name was there, so they sent him.

The matter was that simple.

Of course, Obito himself didn't know that, but Utahime, along with the academy principal, knew this story, and therefore they were looking at the Zenin member in front of them with disdain.

In addition, they knew the reason for his loss of consciousness was a simple attack from Toudou, so they quickly lost interest in him.
