Chapter 43 - Chapter 42: Precise Positioning

Could I really be a pervert?

Watching Kushina's retreating back, Tsunade fell into deep self-doubt.

At this moment, two little figures, one black and one white, seemed to appear in her mind.

The white figure spat in disgust: "Sticking your feet into your disciple's embrace, do you have no shame, Tsunade?"

The black figure snorted: "So what? Can't a disciple help his teacher warm her feet?"

The dispute broke out instantly. The white figure pointed at the black figure, filled with righteous indignation: "Is that just warming feet? You are clearly... Anyway, you are despicable!"

"Just warming feet, what is there to understand? At most, I just didn't let him leave, right? Was there any out-of-line behavior?"

The black figure spread its hands: "Sure enough, people with dirty hearts see everything as dirty~"

"You, you, you..."

The white figure was furious, pointing at the black figure, chest heaving violently: "Self-deception! Self-deception!!"

Saying that, it exploded in rage.

The black figure also disappeared, leaving only Tsunade lying motionless under the kotatsu.

After a long time, she gently touched her burning cheek, a trace of confusion flashing in her eyes.

"I'm back!"

Soon, Nawaki returned home carrying large and small bags.

"Welcome back."

Minato put down the teacup and whispered to himself, "Then, I should prepare lunch too."

As the voice fell, the pair of white snakes in his arms moved reluctantly.

Minato reached under the kotatsu and held them gently. They felt like peeled eggs, delicate and smooth.

Calmly pinching the round and cute toes, Minato's fingertips gently traced the curve of the arch. The two small white snakes immediately crawled away from his legs hurriedly as if frightened.

Stinking brat!

Seeing Minato get up, Tsunade hurriedly buried her head in the crook of her arm, muttering in her heart.

The instant-boiled mutton hot pot was delicious.

Nawaki and Kushina turned into bandits, their chopsticks sweeping wildly in the pot. Tsunade, however, ate absent-mindedly, her mind full of the subtle touch just now that seemed to reach the depths of her soul.

No, I can't go on like this!

Stealing a glance at Minato's immature face, Tsunade forced herself to cheer up and put down her chopsticks.

"I have something to say."

She suddenly spoke, interrupting the atmosphere of eating at the table. "I've been perfecting a rather important ninjutsu recently, so I'm going out for a while to find some inspiration."

"Eh? How long will it take?" Nawaki was reluctant.

"Not sure."

Tsunade pursed her lips, secretly observing Minato's reaction.

Seeing that Minato didn't react much, she couldn't help but feel a burst of loss in her heart.

"Are you leaving the village?" Kushina asked.

"Mmh, probably." Tsunade nodded.

"Then Sensei, take these with you."

Minato extended his hand, holding a handful of seeds. "These are seeds mutated from my cells. Just inject chakra into them, and they can spawn my Wood Clones, convenient for contacting home."

"Contact..."

Tsunade's tone was inexplicable.

She intended to leave the village and go out to train for a while precisely to break off contact.

However, just in case, she took the seeds and put them in her ninja tool pouch.

After thinking about it, she got up and went back to her room, taking out a huge scroll.

"Is this... the ninjutsu you want to practice, Sis?"

"No, this is the summoning scroll of the Slug Sage from the Shikkotsu Forest, one of the three great holy lands."

Tsunade spread out the scroll and pointed to her name on it. "I plan to let you sign a summoning contract with Katsuyu. By writing your name with blood, you can summon part of the Slug Sage's clones."

(Note: The idea that Katsuyu's real name is "Katsuyu" is actually wrong. It's just a translation issue. The Japanese characters for "Slug" and "Katsuyu" are the same. Please don't roast me, thanks.)

"Slugs..."

Nawaki's mouth twitched. As Tsunade's brother, he had naturally seen slugs.

"Slugs?"

Kushina's eyelid twitched. Thinking of the slimy and sticky appearance of slugs, she felt it was somewhat unacceptable.

"This is an ability you must master."

Tsunade was also worried that Minato would encounter danger while she was away.

Although she knew that with Minato's current strength, it was basically impossible to encounter danger in the village, she still couldn't control her worry.

"All the slugs you summon are clones of the Slug Sage. In case of danger, you can summon a slug. Even a very small one can let the slug pass messages for you."

Hearing this, the three didn't hesitate. They bit their fingers one after another and signed their names on the scroll.

"Eh... what are the seals for the Summoning Jutsu again?"

Nawaki tilted his head to recall. He remembered it was taught in class.

"It's Boar, Dog, Bird, Monkey, Ram!"

While the blood was still wet, Kushina performed the Summoning Jutsu.

With a poof, a palm-sized slug appeared in front of everyone.

"Eh?"

As soon as the slug appeared, it tilted its head anthropomorphically. "You are..."

"She is Kushina Uzumaki, this is Minato Namikaze, and this is my brother Nawaki. You've met him."

Tsunade introduced, "I have to leave the village for something, so I had them sign the Shikkotsu Forest summoning contract."

"Ah, so that's how it is~"

The slug nodded its tentacles. "I understand, Little Tsunade. I will take good care of them! If you need help, feel free to summon me~"

Saying that, it disappeared with a poof.

Nawaki looked at Kushina in amazement. "Why can you, a first-grader, use the Summoning Jutsu so proficiently?"

"Kushina is from the Uzumaki clan."

Minato explained, "This clan is best at Sealing Jutsu, and the related Summoning Jutsu is also within their professional expertise."

"In that case, I'll go first."

Tsunade said, getting up to leave.

"Eh? So urgent?"

"Isn't it too urgent? Can't you leave after finishing the meal?"

"No, there's no time to lose. Finishing it earlier means I can come back earlier. Don't worry, I won't be away for too long."

Tsunade waved her hand, ignoring the three's retention, took her ninja tool pouch, and left.

She had finally built up her mental resolve. She was afraid that if she stayed any longer, she wouldn't want to leave again.

"Sis... she's been a bit weird lately."

After Tsunade left, the three returned to the table. Nawaki said worriedly, "I don't know why, her mood swings are huge."

Kushina's eyes lit up. "Could she be in love?"

"Impossible! Absolutely impossible!"

Nawaki waved his hand. "My sister has very high standards. I have never seen her look at any boy differently. Well, except Minato. This guy's talent is indeed explosively strong."

Kushina looked at Minato. "Does Minato know what's going on?"

"I don't know."

Minato shook his head, a trace of an imperceptible smile flashing in his eyes. He sensed the aura of the clone seed in the yard.

The Wood Clone seed had a positioning function, but looking at it, Tsunade obviously didn't know this...
