When Delia left, he left behind a female to take care of Evangeline.
This female was very delicate, yet beautiful. The butterfly marking on her forehead was blue. Her name was Daphne, and she was one of Commander Delia's females. However, she was not particularly favored, or else she wouldn't have been left here to look after a "wandering female."
Daphne's attitude was extremely respectful, as if Evangeline were the native of Papilio City-state.
Whenever she glanced at Evangeline's face, a hidden desire and hope would flash in her eyes.
Evangeline hadn't come here to enjoy a life of leisure. When Daphne brought in a lavish meal, she curved her lips into a smile and invited Daphne to sit and eat with her. Daphne was a little overwhelmed, pointing to herself and whispering, "Me? May I?"
"Of course," Evangeline said softly, her beautiful face radiating a harmless sort of kindness.
