Evangeline pressed a Jade Token into both Caden Albright's and Lachlan's hands.
Lachlan's grayish-brown eyes glinted with reluctance as he said softly, "Then... come back soon."
"Alright!" Evangeline nodded slightly and slowly vanished before their eyes.
She was now The Beast God. A single thought could take her anywhere on the Beastman Continent.
"What should we do now?" Lachlan asked, standing on the city wall and turning to survey the empty city-state.
Caden Albright's amber eyes were deep and profound. He shrugged and said calmly, "The same thing those fake 'Beast Gods' are doing, of course. We'll recruit Beastman Warriors in Eva's name. I believe we'll be facing a war very soon."
