He was an old man with a ruddy face and white hair. His black robes billowed without a wind, stirred by the astonishing fluctuations of Primordial Power. Green rings of Primordial Power swirled around his palm, and seven green Martial Rings appeared distinctly beneath his feet. He glared at Mu Chen and said coldly, "You little brat. It was one thing to injure so many of our Cold City Guards, but you actually dared to strike my family's young master with such a heavy hand. You've got quite the nerve!"
Mu Chen's brow furrowed. The old man's strength was perfectly clear: a Seven-Ring Martial Spirit. With his current power, even a One-Ring Martial Spirit could slap him into critical condition. Thankfully, this old man hadn't used his full strength, or else he wouldn't have gotten off with just spitting up some blood.
