Faye Vaughn wasn't angry in the slightest.
In a pleasant and even tone, she began to settle the accounts with Old Master Hawthorne. "I was with him for three years, and he gave me a total of thirty-six million. After the ten million I just transferred back to him, that leaves twenty-six million."
Old Master Hawthorne's brow furrowed. "What do you mean by that?"
Faye Vaughn extended a pale, delicate hand. "Give me your bank account number. I'll give you this twenty-six million as a first-meeting gift."
It was her turn to be the one throwing money around.
'This feels great,' Faye Vaughn thought, inwardly pleased.
She wasn't afraid of being broke; she had the ability to earn more.
Besides, she never intended to live out the rest of her days in this world anyway.
She would be returning to her own home sooner or later.
"You think I'll be polite and refuse?"
