Liu Ruyan and Niu Kexin cried out in alarm. They rushed into the crater at almost the same time, kneeling beside Mo Qi on either side. Their eyes filled with tears as they stared at him, their faces etched with worry.
They didn't know what state Mo Qi was in, so they didn't dare touch him rashly, afraid that a single careless move would only worsen his injuries.
All they could do was watch him with immense heartache, completely at a loss.
"COUGH! COUGH!"
Mo Qi coughed violently twice, expelling the stifling feeling from his chest.

Mo Qi sat up straight and dusted the dirt from his hair.
Seeing this, Liu Ruyan and Niu Kexin finally felt a weight lift from their hearts. They both threw themselves into Mo Qi's arms, holding him tightly and refusing to let go.
