When Evan Keller returned to the office, he told everyone about the Chief's plan.
Heath Hale let out a huge sigh of relief when he heard he could go along.
"Don't worry," Zoe Sawyer said, trying to reassure them. "I'll bring those special dresses. If there's any danger, I can pull out a weapon at any time. Plus, Heath Hale is coming with me. Nothing will happen."
Simon Hughes and the others were still worried, but since the Chief had given the order, they had no choice but to accept it.
At least this mission seemed much safer than Zoe Sawyer's last undercover assignment.
Once the decision was made, Zoe Sawyer called Wendy Dawson back. She glanced at Heath Hale standing beside her and, sticking to the plan, said in a bashful tone, "My boss said yes, but... my boyfriend's worried and wants to come along. Is that okay?"
Wendy Dawson's heart leaped. 'So another cop is coming too?'
'Perfect!'
