Heath Hale took the item Zoe Sawyer handed him and opened to the first page, curious to see what was inside.
The first page of the notebook contained only times and names. There was nothing else. Heath flipped randomly through a few more pages. Like the first, they only had times and names. However, a few names in the middle were heavily crossed out in black ink. What this meant exactly would require further verification.
"Alright, I'll figure out what this notebook is about," Heath said, closing it. Now wasn't the time to delve into it. The most important thing right now was to keep a close eye on Dr. Jennings. If he made another move, they needed to be ready to react in time.
Meanwhile, Dr. Jennings watched the fire growing in the wastebasket, a smile spreading across his face.
