Silas Grant didn't think much of it.
It was just an address. When Mia asked for it, he simply gave it to her.
Compared to the empty tomb, Silas Grant was far more concerned with other, more important matters. "Military training is almost over," he asked. "Have you considered moving out?"
'...' Mia remembered Kian Keller telling her to move in with him.
'Now, I probably won't have to go.'
'He's still in the hospital, after all.'
At this thought, she shook her head. "No, I don't think so. Living on campus is pretty convenient, and my roommates are all easy to get along with."
"Alright." Silas Grant didn't press the issue.
'It's like boiling a frog in slowly warming water; you can't rush things.'
As promised, Silas Grant personally drove her back to school.
Downstairs from the dormitory, inside the back of the car.
Mia Grant waved goodbye, ready to bolt.
Quick as a flash, Silas Grant grabbed her hand and pulled her back.
