The vacuum of the cosmos was cold and silent.
This was the edge of Star System 120, a place that should have been an unchanging void, but had now become a gruesome graveyard.
Countless shattered limbs and twisted fragments of power armor mingled with fine cosmic dust, forming a heart-stopping, blood-red star chart.
The wreckage of warships, not yet completely cooled, still silently burned away their last reserves of energy, casting a faint red glow like the final breaths of dying behemoths.
The war had reached its climax not long ago, only to fall into an eerie stalemate.
Hundreds of thousands of Martial Artists were arrayed at opposite ends of the void, forming two distinct factions.
On one side were the Warriors of the "Six Great Star Systems Alliance."
They were fewer in number, but their formation remained disciplined, and every face was etched with the will to fight.
Too much of their comrades' wreckage floated around them. This sudden skirmish had cost them dearly.
