In front of the wooden cabin, a female elf clad entirely in fiery red stepped forward. Like a raging inferno, she blocked the other elves who were trying to take Rella away.
"Hong Lian! Are you defying the ancient laws of the Elf Race?" demanded Elder Ronnie angrily.
Hong Lian turned, the flames in her pupils looking as if they could burn anything to ash. She shot Ronnie a glare and sneered, "Ronnie, since when were you qualified to speak to me?"
Her voice brimmed with the confidence of power, causing Elder Ronnie to show a hint of fear.
Although Ronnie's status was equal to Hong Lian's, both being Elf Elders, Ronnie couldn't help but feel terrified in the face of such absolute strength. Hong Lian's fury seemed capable of setting the entire world ablaze, making all the other elves too scared to approach.
