Renee Jennings turned around, picked up the pink plaid bag, and handed it to her.
Eve took the bag, pulled out her phone, and asked in a low voice, "Can I add you on WeChat?"
"Sure." Renee nodded, then added, "Would it be okay to get your phone number too?"
Eve froze for a few seconds. "My phone number too?"
"Is that a problem?" Renee looked at her candidly, her eyes bright. "I just want to be friends with you."
Faced with someone so beautiful, Eve couldn't bring herself to refuse. She quickly nodded. "It's fine, of course it's fine."
"Thanks." Renee added her on WeChat and dialed her number to confirm it was correct. She smiled and said, "Let's talk when we have time."
Eve nodded. "Okay."
Renee looked at Kohl, her eyes glinting with a smile. "My snake friend, shall we find another place to chat?"
"Of course!" Kohl readily agreed.
Renee held out her hand to him. "Come on, then."
Kohl understood and immediately coiled around her slender, fair arm.
