Papa Black Bean's eyes widened as he stared at SlimSnowflake's phone. He asked in disbelief, "Meow? So, those ugly little things are really kittens?"
"Yes," Renee Jennings said in a serious tone. "Chilli didn't betray you."
Mama Pepper said pitifully, "Meow~ Bean, you really misunderstood me."
Papa Black Bean was silent for a moment, seeming to digest the fact that he had fathered ugly children.
A few seconds later, he walked over to Mama Pepper and nuzzled her with his head. "Chilli, I'm sorry. I misunderstood you."
"Meow~ It's okay." Mama Pepper also nuzzled Papa Black Bean with her head.
Seeing the two cats return to their usual loving ways, SlimSnowflake finally breathed a sigh of relief.
She flipped the camera to face herself, grinning from ear to ear. "Ms. Jennings, thank you so much!"
"You're welcome," Renee Jennings smiled faintly. "I'm just glad it's all sorted out."
Mama Pepper walked over to SlimSnowflake and pawed at her pant leg.
