Sebastian Sinclair issued a warning. "Mrs. Upton, our second young master has passed away. His relationship with Miss Upton has naturally come to an end, and her affairs have nothing to do with our eldest young master.
"If Miss Upton had refrained from stirring up trouble, the Sinclair Family wouldn't have minded looking after her. But now, her very presence is severely disrupting our eldest young master's life. I must ask you, Mrs. Upton, to keep your daughter in line."
Having delivered his harsh words, Sebastian Sinclair left with his men, leaving a disheveled Rosalie Upton standing in the vast, empty hall, weeping quietly.
Mrs. Upton was so furious she swayed on her feet. 'My good name... completely ruined by this daughter of mine.'
But what could be done? Her daughter's mind had snapped from the shock of the second Sinclair son's death. It was simply impossible to reason with her about certain things.
