Ruby Marshall: "A prize draw before you buy a car? Don't try to fool me, I wasn't born yesterday!"
Riley Perry glanced at Samson Sinclair, who had been following them the whole time. He guiltily rubbed his nose and looked away.
Riley Perry: "Well, let's just try the prize draw then. We can talk after we see what we get."
Ruby Marshall let her daughter pull her along, following the saleswoman into an office.
The salesperson pointed to the computer and said, "Ma'am, just press the 'draw' button to participate. There's a 60% chance of winning 'Try Again' and a 0.001% chance of winning the 300,000 grand prize. Which of you would like to do it?"
Riley Perry gave her mom a gentle push. Ruby Marshall said, "Me? No way! I've always had terrible luck. If I do it, I'll definitely get 'Try Again'."
"How can you say you have terrible luck? With the best daughter in the world like me, you're the luckiest person in the world!"
Ruby Marshall thought about it. You know, she had a point.
