Sophie Wexler was plunged into darkness once more. A voice began to sound in her ears, one she was incredibly familiar with.
She heard many, many things—some she already knew, and some she didn't.
It was as if Cillian Forrest was trying to tear his heart out for her to see, his voice filled with endless anguish.
"Sue, as long as you wake up, you can do whatever you want. You can go wherever you want. It's fine even if you don't want to see me. Anything, I'll listen to you... just please, wake up."
Cillian Forrest begged again and again. His mind may have gone blank, but his voice never stopped.
Suddenly, his voice stopped short. He froze, not daring to believe it, afraid it was just his imagination.
"I'm not going anywhere." A soft voice drifted over.
He was terrified he was just hearing things. After all, during the time Sophie Wexler had been unconscious, he had imagined his Sue waking up countless times, only to be met with disappointment again and again.
