A single glance revealed a force of three to four hundred Tier-5 and Tier-6 Blade Demons gathered before the Spider Demon Corps. There were also a considerable number of hidden Shadow Demons—at least thirty or forty of them, and their tiers were likely high.
Tier-6 Spider Demon Corps were relatively rare; only about thirty or so would appear over the course of a typical day. To eliminate one safely, it usually required the combined efforts of about three battle groups.
When one appeared, the battle group at the front would immediately engage it to halt its advance. This was the most dangerous phase.
