"Y-y-you... What is this...?" Bai Qi looked completely astonished, his eyes wide as he pointed at Xin Huohuo, stuttering.
"What's wrong with me?" 'Is there something off about me?'
Xin Huohuo lowered her head to look at herself. But when she glanced aside, she saw a person—an incredibly familiar person—and let out a scream of her own.
Xin Huohuo! Herself!
She had clearly jumped up and was now standing and talking to Bai Qi, yet there was another *her* at the dining table, slumped over and sleeping as if she were dead.
"What's going on?" She was startled, but not scared. 'After all, Bai Qi is here.'
"Heavens, your soul left your body!" Bai Qi finally snapped out of it and stepped forward, looking like he was about to slap Xin Huohuo.
Xin Huohuo dodged instinctively, but her head felt heavy and her vision went black, as if she had plunged into a giant, warm bubble. When she opened her eyes again, her physical body felt heavy, and her arm was numb from being used as a pillow.
