"You're a living soul?" Xin Huohuo asked.
"How did you know?" Lin Pei's eyes widened. The expression really suited her, making her look especially cute.
"You live upstairs?" Xin Huohuo asked again.
"You know that too!" Lin Pei was even more surprised.
"First, I've seen ghosts—I see them often. The aura above their heads is grayish-black. But even though you don't have a physical body, your light is white, so you must be a living soul. Second, I've heard people talk about you. I just compared that with your appearance and made an educated guess..." Xin Huohuo pointed at the ceiling.
"My name is Lin Pei," Lin Pei stated. "It seems Miss Lei has met you."
Xin Huohuo was just as surprised, because this girl clearly knew quite a lot herself.
