"Go home?"
Shen Nian looked at Lu Cheng. Of course, she knew that when he said "go home," he meant going back to the Shen family—to her parents' house.
"Mhm. I was supposed to visit your parents with you after we got married, but a mission for work delayed me. Now that I'm back, I should definitely go home with you for a visit."
"Mhm."
Shen Nian nodded. She had actually been thinking about this, too. Her parents were quite satisfied with Lu Cheng, so they understood the special nature of his work.
However, Shen Nian also knew that Father Shen and Mrs. Shen were still worried about her life with the Lu Family. It would be good to go back with Lu Cheng. At the very least, it would let them know that she was doing well and that Lu Cheng was treating her well.
"Don't worry. My parents understand, they won't have any issue with you!"
"Even if they don't, I should still thank them in person."
"Thank them for what?"
"For bringing such a wonderful daughter to me."
